“Great Hidden Jem”
Reviewed March 25, 2012

Lisa's has indoor and outdoor seating. We sat at the bar area with diner type booths. We were greeted by the owner who was also our waitress. She was very welcoming and a strong Northern sales person, but it was refreshing for us since we were also from New Jersey. Lisa made several suggestions of dishes. We tried the fried oysters which were delicious, but there were only 4 larger size ones and for $9 we thought there should have been 6. My Friend got the Maryland Crabcake sandwich since it seemed to be the signature dish.It was good, but needed to be a bit thicker for the money. I had the Fried grouper sandwich which ended up being the best thing that I ate my entire trip. The prices were a bit up there, but it is a resort area. We ended up paying much more for less better quality food elsewhere and often said that we should had gone back to Lisa's.

“Awesome Food”
Reviewed March 21, 2012

We ate there twice in a recent long weekend trip to St. Petersburg. The food was awesome and we had excellent service. Lisa, the owner, was there both nights and made sure everyone was happy. The crab cakes, espresso crusted filet, and creme brulee are incredible. My husband loved the crab mac-n-cheese.

“It could not get any better!”
Reviewed March 21, 2012

Lisa is always at the restaurant. She chooses ingredients that are fresh and interesting. Some dishes she prepares herself, others are prepared by the Chef. She even offered samples. This is a foodies paradise! Service is attentive but not invasive. Can't believe we had 2 drinks each, starters, entrees & the bill was under $70.

“good food but slow service”
Reviewed March 19, 2012

Based upon the advice from our hotel, we checked out Lisa's - it's a small, charming place and there were several food choices. My dinner was good and everyone in my group enjoyed their meal, but our party found the service to be quite slow. We had children with us and they were getting a little antsy waiting on their food. With so many other options in the area, I think next time we would choose another restaurant.
