Nice, outside patio area to relax after walking around the shops at the Boardwalk. We returned for food on a different day and it was very good.

On our quest for a fun night with good food, our driver suggested Bamboo Beach Bar and Grill. Awesome! We had already hit a few other spots for drinks and apps, so we weren't looking for a full meal, just more munchies and drinks. Margaritas; We were surprised that not every bar at John's Pass made them. When we sat down, our first request was for Margaritas. Our waitress said she'd make us the best. She did. Loretta Lynn Marvial is her name. One of the BEST waitresses in Florida. We felt like instant friends; she suggested her favorite munchies, which were great. The Margaritas were strong and flowing fast, so I can't remember all the food, but the FISH TACO's, and FISH SPREAD were fantastic.

We drove by Bamboo Beach 3 times and each time the line was out the door and around the building, when you see that you have to stop at some point in time! We stopped by the 4th time about noon and were able to get in no problem! Bamboo, is a bar restaurant that has live entertainment it is all alfresco dinning with a cover over some tables. The service is friendly laid back and a little slow, the food is pretty darn good, try the Eggplant Fries. Prices are good for the area $8 for Fish Tacos and $8 for Fish & Chips or Burger and Fries. Drinks are fairly priced but they come in a plastic cup, kind of like college days. The live entertainment was a nice bonus to good food and atmosphere and no cover charge!

We were walking along looking for somewhere for dinner and heard some terrific music coming from a bar/restaurant. We had a look at the menu and decided to head on in.

We were welcomed warmly and given some menu's and we got seated. The waitress was prompt in taking orders - one drama was there was no lemon/lime for the Corona's. The food that came out was pretty standard pub grub - nice but not remarkable. The prices were reasonable.

The main draw card here was the guy on the guitar who was just terrific and happy to have a chat in his breaks. Well worth calling in a drink or two and to listen to him.

Five of us went here for lunch at about 1:00 on Thursday. The service was good and the food was pretty tasty. We sat outside and there was some entertainment which was pretty decent. This was a great place to stop for food and cocktails after shopping at John's Pass. Like most Florida restaurants though, smoking is allowed and the folks down here smoke excessively so plan accordingly.
