Description: Located in world famous John's Pass the Bamboo is one of the sun coasts oldest bars formerly known as the "Bamboo Beer Garden". Recently renovated it now boasts a tasty menu ranging from favorites such as fish tacos, smoked fish spread to burgers & philly cheese steaks as well as new eclectic crave items such as grilled pig wings & eggplant fries. Now with a full liquor bar, frozen Tiki drinks are the best in the pass. The Bamboo is a favorite with locals as well as snowbirds who return yearly to enjoy the fun & has been voted the best outdoor patio to watch live music on the west coast of Florida. Great food, live entertainment and daily drink specials abound!

Love this place. Mostly all outdoor, but they have music just about every day. It’s usually a guy singing to a tapes thing but very entertaining. People of all ages go there. Drinks are reasonable, and it appears it is a local favorite. We did not eat, but were told by many that the food was fantastic – and very reasonable too. Gotta try this place!

We went to the bamboo to watch the entertainment and to eat on Sunday.
The wings were terrable.
We ordered mild and they were so hot we never ate them.
The waitress says there mild wings are very hot.
Why not tell else before we ordered.
The other food was so so.
The staff are friendly.
The bar was taken over by new owners and has gone down hill eversince.
The locals that used to hand out there go else where now.
This bar used to be packed all the time. Not anymore.
Service is slow.

This is more of a sit and have a few drinks place, versus a good dinner. We ordered from here, and they messed up the order completely, and it wasn't anything but average food. The person we ordered from when asking a few questions about items on the menu even mentioned they just order most stuff from Sysco and to go to XYZ place if you want XYZ!

The mudslide drink was the best thing about this place! (Food or drink wise!)
