Owner description: The "Pass", as locals refer to it, was created by a hurricane on September 27, 1848. A pirate, John Levique, made the first passage through the newly created pass. Hence the name, Johns Pass. Located on the waterfront at Johns Pass, this quaint turn-of-the-century fishing village is Pinellas County's #1 tourist attraction. Over one hundred merchants inhabit the Village with unique retail shopping, a variety of restaurants, the local fishing fleet, dolphin watching and shelling tours, boat rentals, parasailing and jet skiing.

We went one wet afternoon (our only one). Not many people there which was good because there is not much parking. Most of the shops sell rubbish.

The only thing I liked was it was under cover!

Wandered thru the shops and ate at the restaurants. Perfect spot to watch the dolphins go by and the bridge go up for the boats. Pelicans haven as the fisherman clean there fish and feed them scraps. Great for tourists who like to walk after dinner and look thru the shops.

This is a very fun place to take the family for shopping and food. The shops are very nice and reasonably priced. Maybe a little price markup for ther location. Definitly a fun place to go.

Not impressed at all. Over priced. Not much to see. Was told that we could see dolphin. Not true. Enjoyed Cocoa Beach much better.
