First visited here for lunch summer 2010 and had an excellent meal - gorgeous crispy onion rings to start and one of the best philly cheese steak sandwiches I've ever had. So returned one evening this year with my family - only to be very disappointed with the whole experience. We ate early evening and I had exactly the same food again - it wasn't anywhere near as good as the first visit. Soggy bread, soggy fries - not impressed at all. Other family members had different meals and all agreed that it was edible but no more. Granted the place was busier than the lunchtime visit, but it wasn't packed out. The service was just about acceptable, the tables, menus and everything needed a good clean down - everything was sticky and grubby. And to cap it all, the live band was awful. Next time we visit the area we won't be going back to the Hut.

I have been coming here as a regular for about a year. Their food is what is to be expected from a waterfront restaurant, fresh, and tasty. They have a wide selection of beers on tap from local, domestic, and imports, as well as numerous variations of frozen delight drinks, what is needed for all local beach bars that are few and far between. All of the nights bring something new. Local bands play atop the tiki bar overlooking everyone for the ultimate acoustic ambiance. If you get the chance go to the hut which is only a third of which the owner has to offer. There is another wonderful restaurant called Sculley's that is above on the boardwalk. When you are done eating late night, you can close the evening by visiting Sportsman's sports bar down below. Cheap drinks, great deals, pool, darts, golden tee, and arcade bowling. All three of these places have something to offer for all. Take my advice and enjoy.

Food ok but kids meals pricey and dont include drinks. Adding fries to meals is extra. Sitting outside in day bad idea too hot. Would go just for a drink in that tiki waterside bar atmosphere. Band above bar was cool though.
