I had not been at this attraction in 15 years. Had friends granddaughter that wanted to see so we decided to go. It was a better than expected experience and well worth the money. The drive through the animal park was informative, the animals looked well taken care of, and the informative cd was great. The other attractions including the water park, animal rides, petting zoo and amusement rides were excellent. You could spend almost all day here. Do not miss feeding the giraffes.
The restaurant food was great at very reasonable prices. A welcome surprise in this time of amusement parks over charging for everything they have.
Almost everything was all inclusive. Look for the discount tickets that are often available and make this one of the best deals in town. We will be back many more times.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, in fact, we wish we had spent more time here!
This drive through safari is such a worthwhile experience, the cd commentary is a real bonus as there are so many animals to observe.
We arrived at around 2pm and this just did not give us enough time to see so much of what this location has to offer. We only got to do the drive through and not the walk through safari. You get fabulous views of the animals, who all look to be in good condition and well cared for.

I would love to have the opportunity to spend more time here, unfortunately, not likely from here in Australia! I would highly recommend spending a day here so that you can take full advantage of what this reserve has to offer.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your experience at Lion Country Safari. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your visit.
At Lion Country Safari we always invite our guests to come spend the day with over 900 of our animals. We do recommend that our guests plan to stay in the park for at least 4-5 hours. This gives the guests the opportunity to be able to enjoy both the parks without feeling rushed.
We also offer many activities throughout our walk through park that are family oriented and provide a fun and safe time for everyone. Check out ourWebsite for great savings with coupons . We hope to see you again soon!

This is like Busch Gardens in Tampa in a smaller way. There are two parks- one to drive through to see wild African animals from your car and another with some cool rides. There are 300 acres to explore. The amount of mileage, however, is four miles. The animals you encounter are the usual suspects in African wild animal parks. Though some could be dangerous in some way, just stay in your car with windows up. You travel through about seven sections at your own pace and a Rhino or Lion might be standing in the road. You can drive through as many times as you want. As to the rides, well they are tame- paddle boats, Ferris wheel, kids train, You can feed a giraffe, play mini golf and have a bite to eat there. You can also ride an elephant. You might even want to camp at the KOA campground there with RV hookups, tent and cabin sites. You might think you are in Africa at night. if you have a convertible, they are not allowed, also, do not bring pets to the park, but if you do, you will have to leave them at the kennel. You need about 3-5 hrs. to do the park. The address is 2003 Lion Country Safari Blvd., West Palm Beach. The park has the largest zebra herd in the US and the largest rhino herd. If you are have a casual interest in african animals, your money would be better spent in another place.

The park is only 15 miles from West Palm Beach. From I-95, take Exit 68 at Southern Blvd and go west. For info call: 561-793-1084; Campground at 561-793-9797.

Thank you for sharing your recent experience at Lion Country Safari. One of our goals at Lion Country Safari is to have our animals as close to their natural environment as possible. By recreating a natural habit it encourages the animals to show more natural behaviors as they would in the wild. Some of our animals will approach the vehicles, while others may observe from afar. Our free roaming animals on the safari always provide a unique experience for our guests. We also have expanded the park over the last few years adding an entire herd of Kulan, many animal births, a safari sprayground, giraffe feeding exhibit, Ferris wheel, camel rides, budgie feeding aviary, special event pavilion, water balloon challenge and a 90ft Fun Slide! We do hope to continue expansion in 2013.

We do have discount coupons on our website. These coupons can offer great savings for all of our visitors - thank you for suggesting this tip to future guests. We hope to see you on safari again!

This is the place to go with or without kids. You actually drive through all wild animals.
They have a park inside where you can get right up and personal with all kinds of animals.
Someone is there to tell you all about these animals.
They also have a camp ground inside Lion Country Safari.
We all had a great day there, and yes they have places to eat.
All the animals are well taken care of and it is kept very clean.

Its really a 5 star place to visit!
