Chef Henry's is a favorite place for Weinerschnitzel to be sure. Their food is fabulous. But don't forget the Apple Strudel!!
This Valentine's Day we didn't feel like fighting the crowds for dining out so we had dinner at home and picked up a Strudel for dessert. The super thin tender layers of the pastry melt in your mouth! The apple filling is just sweet enough and the apples are the perfect texture! This is the best dessert in town, by far!.
Next time you don't want to do the whole dinner thing, you can still have a terrific treat by either going in to Chef Henry's after dinner for a Strudel and coffee (Even sit outside under the little white lights in the courtyard), or just pick one up and have it at home!!

We went for the wine-pairing Slovakian Mardi-Gras. All of the food was excellent, making it, truly, difficult to choose our favorite course. We were served five different types of wine, beginning with white greet and ending with port. Applause! We'll definitely return just for dinner, as well as for another of these special events.

My wife and I stumbled onto Chef Henry's while in the area. I did a quick search on Trip Advisor and found Chef Henry's nearby. It was a week night and we had the place to ourselves at first. That was nice because it gave us time to chat with the young lady working out front. I think the establishment is all family run.

She was very helpful in what we should try. We tried everything from appetizers to desert and loved it all (we had to take our apple strudels in a to go box for later).

I honestly can not remember what dishes we ordered, but they were very tasty. The wine was enjoyable, and we really liked the quiet atmosphere.

We will most surely be back to Chef Henry's many times. It is a "must try" for anyone in the area. It is wonderful to still find a family run resturant to have a great meal with kind and very friendly service.

Thank you Henry and family!

For years, my wife and I have been fans of Chef Henry's when they were in Winter Park. Now ther're just as great in Longwood, serving wiener schnitzel, goulash, German and Czech delicacies, including their own breads and pastries. Every visit there is a treat, like a trip to Prague or Vienna. One of the top restaurants in Orlando-land.
