Maison Blanche is an example of the good life. It has it all: Food fit for foodies, outstanding wines, remarkable ambiance and great service. The menu is Prixe Fixe consisting of a starter, entrée and dessert. We substituted a mesclun salad for dessert which we elected to be served after our entrée. The Foie Gras terrine was smooth and full of flavor, My braised sweetbread entrée was tasty and served with a beet puree. The hit of the night was my wife’s suckling pig. It was baked to perfection. The skin was crisp as it should be. The meat was tender and tasty. Our salad was fresh and lightly dressed, We selected a French Bordeaux that complemented both entrees and starters. Do not let the entrance fool you. Upon entering, you are transformed into a room elegantly furnished. This is truly a special occasion place. There might be 25 tables in total, Reservations are definitely a must. Our server had a heavy French accent that added to the experience. It reminded me of upscale restaurants that I have eaten in when in Paris. A definite come back to place!
