We have been going for stone Crabs for many years. We had the Stone Crab dinner last night as we have had on all our previous visits. It was very poor value compared to previous years - a small portion of small stone crabs which appeared to be over cooked.. Not recommended and we may never go again

Everyone else in our party had fish of some sort. I ordered the grilled chicken and asked for some cheddar on top. This off-menu addition was done cheerfully. And it was delicious! Our round table in a corner had views of the water from every seat. Service (Bill was our server) was cordial and efficient. The food was prepared quickly. We've always enjoyed Moore's, and this was an excellent visit.

We have been visiting this restaurant on a yearly basis, but not again! How can a place that boasts the best stone crab not have any except the most pitiful medium claws - they used to have colossals, which we were always content in paying top dollar for but found this last visit too disappointing to give them another chance. The only good thing about the place on our last visit was the very friendly bar staff - even they were embarrassed by the lack of their signature dish!! One more thing to add - for their price structure, this place should be spruced up a bit!!

Purchased stone crab claws, very good but very expensive. Service was wonderful. Get there early to avoid a wait

We were lured to Moore's Stone Crab by author H. Terrell Griffin's Matt Royal books. We arrived without reservations on a beautiful warm day in late March. The lunch crowd had left. We had our our choice of outside seating. Stone crab claws are a must and Moore's is one, if not the, best crab house in Florida. We enjoyed the crab, lobster rolls, good wine and cold beer. Who could ask for more. Moore's is very popular as well as being very good. Couple that with their exceptional location and reservations should be necessary. Oh, Matt Royal fans, there is a tarpon with a bourbon bottle in its mouth on the wall in the lounge.
