Tucked away in a shopping center that is being renovated sits the all alone Bayou Tavern. We took a chance and went in based on other reviews. Best decision today. The name doesn't tell you that it is an excellent Italian Restaurant. The mussels and clams were incredibly fresh. The pasta was of good quality and cooked perfectly. The prosciutto and melon were fresh and tasty. The salad was fresh. Warm and not soggy garlic bread. Tiramasu with shared spoons -Perfect. Night cap of the home made Lemonciello. Service was very good and friendly. This is a do not miss. Don't pass it by because of the exterior - it's what's inside that counts.
