“Beautiful Place to Enjoy Music”
Reviewed November 16, 2012

Music festivals are held often at this natural venue. Enjoy the great outdoors, wide open spaces, wonderful hosts and almost any kind of music you might be into. Bear Creek Music Festival in November features outstanding live music and quirky vendors. Restaurant and bar/club on site offers great food.

“Tunes, Good Vibes and Nature”
Reviewed October 27, 2012

We were at the Music Park for the most recent Magnolia Fest. We stayed in a rental cabin located very near one of the main stages. The cabins are basically pre-fab units, very much like single-wide trailers. Ours happened to have two bedrooms and two baths but no common area. There was a small but very functional kitchen. A largish deck served as our common area and was great place to hang out, watch people and listen to the music in the (not too far) distance. We checked out some of the other cabins in preparation for next year and they were similar but each with it's own unique aspect. Cabins are limited during events. They put you on a waiting list right away and contact you a month or so before the dates you want. Best to reserve an improved site just in case.
Being early risers (no matter how late we stayed up for the music) we were able to take lovely walks through the surrounding woods and along the Suwanee River on the extensive trails available. There are lots of nice primitive camping sites as well as RV sites which can also just be used for camping. Bath houses seemed conveniently placed. The restaurant was just OK. There's a pool but we didn't us it. My favorite music venue was the Amphitheater...stage sitting down in a bowl with terraced places surrounding to sit under the shade trees. Very nice. Vendor food was pretty good as were the product vendors. Over all it was a very laid back, happy experience.

Mag Fest was great this year, Good Weather, Good Music, Good Vendors
Its important to make reservations ahead for up-grade cmping ( Water, Electricity); however, primative camping is always included with your festival ticket
What a great place to "git yer Mag on" headed inot fal & the holidays!!

“The cabin made it so easy”
Reviewed October 22, 2012

My husband and I just got home from Magnolia Fest. He had been to Wanee fest many times, both camping and RVing. Wanting to give me a little more luxury, we rented one of the park model cabins. They are actually small "mobile Home" units called park units. Ours was a one bedroom with full bath, and kitchenette. We didn't have a stove but we had sink, frig, and microwave. We brought a small grill to supplement. Although some of the food vendors are okay, 4 days of vendor food, you will want to be able to heat up some oatmeal, make a grilled cheese, or cook some brawts, or whatever else, quick and comforting appeals to you, so the grill came in handy.
I had read a negative review of the cabins so I was apprehensive but it was much better than I hoped for. It was clean and comfortable. It was furnished simply but quite frankly you are going to be spending most of the time at the music. Or if you came for just relaxing, it is a beautiful area and the Suwannee river is great. Yes, it was an expensive weekend. But we saw great musicians, some we knew and came for, Bonnie Raitt, and Emmylou Harris, and others we discovered. It was a great experience that I would do again....who's playing next year?
