Our adult daughter is vegan so we're always looking for a restaurant we can all enjoy. On recommendation of an Indian friend who told me he drives an hour each way to dine at this place, his favorite for cuisine from the southern region of India, we decided to give it a try. Much of the menu is strictly vegan, with clear indication for dishes that include any dairy. As the name describes, there is NO meat, fish or fowl offered. The menu was unexpectedly extensive, about 10 pages long, including many appetizers, main dishes and desserts. Quite different from the usual fare at other Indian restaurants we've also enjoyed, we were eager to try new things and were delighted by what we ordered. Dosai are oversized crepes filled with your choice of a wide variety of delectable fillings. Many special breads with assorted chutneys for dipping. The Aloo Palak (potatoes, spinach and spices) was the best I've ever tasted. The desserts were exotic and a new, delicious experience. Four adults shared 3 appetizers, 2 main dishes, and 2 desserts for a total of $55 including gratuity. Very satisfying and inexpensive with very attentive service. We will definitely return to try more new things.

We have not had such delicious Indian food since our last trip to India. We had given up trying local Indian restaurants and were cooking favorite dishes ourselves at home in order to avoid disappointment. We were more than excited to find a good Indian restauran tnearby. The masala dosa was huge and delicious as was everything on the appetizer combo, the lemon rice, the paneer uthappam and the aloo gobi. We ordered far more than we needed but enjoyed every last drop. We will be back soon!

This is a fabulous restaurant and even though the place was very busy the owner was professional enough to find out a spot for my family. The food was very good, tasty and had lot of varieties. I wish they had a branch at Tampa so that I could go and enjoy south indian food regularly. Way to go!!!!!!!!!!11

Of all the vegetarian restaurants in the Fort Lauderdale area, this seems to be the best I have discovered so far.

My family went to this restaurant on a Sunday for the buffet. There were plenty of items to cater to all types of Indian cuisines - a full section for South Indian, This included 2 types of sambar - one was a special sambar which tasted very good. There was a good hot rasam soup which was very tasty. There was a ghee rice which they dubbed special rice, a special sambar to go with it, and a regular sambar in case someone wanted their sambar to be on the spicy side. There was even the traditional vatthal kolambu, and a koottu to supply the proteins for the body, This came with your choice of dosa which can be customized to your liking (plain, masal dosa), though this is not widely advertised and they tend to give you the default which is the plain dosa.

The North Indians had a chaat section, and traditional items like dal makhani, which I did not try as the South Indian section itself was filling for us.

There was a masala tea in a large container, and boiling hot. When mixed with with the right amount of sugar, this was a good complement to the food.

Waiters cleaned the plates promptly.

The only drawback, in my opinion, is the use of styrofoam cups for the soup and other items. Traditional cups would have been a good alternative, but I guess styrofoam is a better alternative than paying the dishwashers.

I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone. It is kid friendly, and items were not too spicy that our kids loved it.
