For many years this was my favorite lunch place as my office was located close by. When my office moved I stopped being a regular. So the other day, when we were looking for a nice restaurant to go to with some good friends, we decided to come back....a very good decision. Started with the soup de jour, the fish soup. It was just wonderful. My main course was the crispy half duck. The portion was very generous, came with potatoes and string beans, and the soup was also included in the price of the meal. The bread was hot and delicious. Our companions ordered creeps and were very pleased with their selections. My wife and I shared a half carafe of the house Shiraz which was reasonably priced and quite nice. I didn't share in trying the special desert crepe of fresh berries and vanilla ice cream, but the other three couldn't stop raving about how good it was....nothing left over for me to even have a small taste. Finally, the service was absolutely top notch. A very nice evening dining out...we will be back before too long!
