I visited with my family on a Saturday night. Upon arrival we requested a table for 4, rather than being taken to a table we were led to an area next to the buffet. Apparently there weren't any available tables. The practical thing would have been to have left us at the waiting area upfront until a table was available. When we got tired on standing next to the food and getting in the way of other patrons we walked to the waiting area.
There was a good variety of items to choose from on the buffet. The quality however left much to be desired. There were two types of naan, which were very ordinary and not tasty at all. We've had naan on many occasions and were left wanting in this instance. The chana masala was passable, the meat selections were bland and lacked the spice and flavor one would expect.
There were 2 parties going on that night. One was in a separate area at the back of the restaurant the other was at the front of the restaurant pretty much out in the open. The group to the front had a DJ, who played music and made announcements as if there weren't regular customers a few feet away. There was very little effort to make us feel welcomed, I truly felt like we were intruding rather than paying customers.
The icing on the cake was the server dropping a glass inches from my wife's foot and having leaving her jeans wet for the rest of the night.
Won't be going back.
