Aruba Beach Cafe is a cool experience. It is located next to the Lauderdale by the Sea pier on the beach with great view of the beach and pier.
We had lunch here today and both of us were very pleased with the food and service and they have seating indoors or outdoors.
Nothing wrong with the service today and the place was very busy.
Food came out hot and fresh and both our meals were just fine.
If you like a sandwich on a salad try the Chicago Salad. It's loaded with tons of turkey, ham, cheese and boiled eggs and is huge.
We started the meal with Conch Fritters and the 2 different sauces were wonderful.
The Lobster Salad Club sandwich is big enough for 2 and is not spicy at all. If fact there is enough lobster salad you could pick the bread off and just eat the lobster salad and still be full when you are done.
Fun place and great people and they have live music during the week and weekend.

The manager Don was most welcoming at the Aruba Beach Cafe. We were told about this restaurant by friends in Massachusetts. Good news travels. We had a wonderful dinner, a great cosmopolitan, and a fabulous view. The service was prompt but not obtrusive. This is a perfect beach dinner spot. We would definitely go back.

Upon arrival, they have valet parking for $5, thank goodness. Arrived at 8 pm and wait time was estimated at 25 minutes. Sat at bar and enjoyed the live music and went to our table after only 15 minutes. Creamy mussels were soooo tender. Crabcakes were soooo good. Did not get to try the Bimini bread as they sold out at 7 pm. Best shrimp scampi I have ever had, not drowning in butter but very flavorful. Dolphin was great. No room for dessert so walked on the pier ($2 charge) and then around the area. Definitely will be back!!

We regularly visit Lauderdale By the Sea. I like to go to Aruba on the first day for dinner because it really puts me in the vacation mood. This time we ate on the beachside patio. Atmosphere and service were great. We could hear the live music from the bar muted enough to be able to converse but loud enough to enjoy. My son and I each had a platter with shrimp, scallops and the fresh catch of the day which happened to be Mahi Mahi with red beans and rice and grilled vegetables. He had it Blackened. I had it Broiled. Excellent and enough for lunch the next day. My husband was very satisfied with his burger as well. I always order the Bimini Bread and it was not a disappointment. We were too full for the dessert. Another great experience.
