We recently stayed at Tropic Seas Resort for a family vacation. The hotel is perfectly located directly on the beach and is also close to a grocery store, pharmacy and several good restaurants.

We stayed in a spacious one bedroom apartment which was perfect for our family. It had a fully appointed kitchen with all of the necessary utensils and appliances including a dishwasher, microwave, stove, refrigerator and coffee maker. The wireless internet worked great and was very fast. We also enjoyed the television with the iphone dock which allowed us to watch movies from our iphone on the television.

We would highly recommend Tropic Seas Resort.

This is my second week long January stay at Tropic Seas. January a little slower time in area so discount rates may be had and worth checking out for longer stays. Quiet oceanfront location on El Mar. Within a couple of blocks of grocery stores, town center, etc.

This is not a luxury resort for anyone looking for all the bells and whistles but good value for money - relaxing and steps from beach. There are many repeat clients which is usually a good sign. Appreciated the responsiveness of any email correspondence with owner John Secco and onsite staff, Eleanor, Linda et al were helpful and friendly. Hope to return.

I would definitely recommend this hotel and would come back. We just happened upon it without a reservation and was treated very well. Stayed 2 nights. Rooms were very clean, staff extremely nice and the view is incredible! You're doing a great job!

We had two rooms as we arrived a day early (and only gave the hotel less than 2 hours notice) we were given an efficiency for the 1st night (at the same price as a room)and then stayed four nights in a King room. The rooms are quite basic but sufficient. The efficiency has a flat screen tv and i pod docking station. The rooms were also very clean and bed very comfortable. The breakfast is coffee and muffins, which again is sufficient if you want to save money on breakfast, (we ate out every morning). The reasons I give this place 5 stars are not because it is a posh hotel but for
1) The staff are very helpful
2) Views from the room are oustanding, to wake up and watch a sunrise from your bed every morning - priceless.
3) Grounds are immaculate (new sun lounges by the look of it) and peacefull.
I loved the fact that guest left their doors open whilst they sat in the grounds (that says how safe and relaxed it was)

Bottom line, if you want luxury stay elsewhere. If you want a nice hotel with outstanding views and grounds, with nice staff and that old style Florida feeling stay here. Myself and my husband nearly went back for a few days but due to the cold weather we went on somewhere esle. LOVE THIS PLACE.

I would love to love this place, and I do, but we stayed on a warm winter night and the window unit air conditioner was so loud it sounded like a jet engine. Too warm without it, too loud with it. I would rate this place very good, a little local mom and pop motel thats as cute as a button. Great beach, great location, with the pier, shops and restaurants nearby. Sadly, I did not sleep a wink all night with the cheap bed and cheap air conditioner, sleep quality for me was zero, everything else was alright.

We have now found a place to return to and to recommend to anyone for a Florida holiday. This small retro hotel right on the beach is perfect for a couple a family or a group. The owner takes extremely good care of the place and does all the required maintenance. The operator of the place is very friendly and welcoming. Look off the porch from the wicker chairs by your room, across the pool, through the palms to the dune and the beach and the ocean. We had an efficiency with a king bed. Fabulous sleeps, lots of space. good shopping close by. Excellent restaurants just down the road. Miles of beautiful beach to wander. Stay a few days as we did or stay a week or more as we plan to the next time. Call early to get the dates and the rooms you prefer.
We'll be back!

Several months ago a couple of girlfriends and I traveled to Tropic Seas Resort to stay for a long weekend.
We needed a refreshing weekend after finishing school and we got much more than we anticipated.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by a delightful and cheery manager, Eleanor, who made us feel at home at the resort. The view from the entrance was breathtaking and we could not wait to take our luggage to the room and hit the pool and the beach. The room was cozy and had a breathtaking view of the ocean and beach.
While, we were there we were able to use the outdoor grill and enjoyed a dinner on the patio overlooking the ocean by sunset.
I have been recommending this hotel to all of my friends and family and can't wait to book another trip!
