After reading the raving reviews I decided to try this place out. It was jammed packed so I figured it must be good. I entered the buffet line and wasn't that impressed as there was just regular salad choices and a few other things. Ive seen more of a selection at Sonny's salad bar. Proceeded to checkout line paid over 11 bucks and waited with my salad in hand 15 minutes to sit. Got to the other buffet line and picked up a potato and a cup of soup. The other selections was a few pizza's and muffins. The desert selection was poor at best. Canned fruit and tapioca pudding. I just don't get it. I think people are so caught up with trying to eat healthy that they gorge on salad and pizza and feel good about it!

We love going to Sweet Tomatoes (known as Souplantation in some other states) when we travel to Florida because they don't have them in Ohio.

Compared to the one we normally go to in Ft. Myers, this one is somewhat smaller and their setup is slightly different. It was a bit more cramped to move around the soup/bread/pasta area.

If you've never been to a Sweet Tomatoes, they feature all you can eat (huge!) salad bar with tons of toppings, variety of soups, foccacia breads, a few pastas, and fruit/sugar-free mousse, soft-serve for dessert. They also have a variety of sodas, iced teas, and coffee.
Featured items typically rotate by month.

Tip: Join their Club Veg - you get coupons via email. I think they offer senior discounts also...
Sundays they offer brunch.

On this trip, it was pretty crowded even at 2p. We weren't impressed with the pastas; too canned tasting. Otherwise, we enjoyed the selection.

If you are looking for a cheap place to eat salad, then this is the place. Eat as much as you want and get seconds as well. Not just salad but soups of which there are about 4/5 to choose from plus ice cream and as much coffee etc as you can drink. If you are An OAP then they do a reduced rate for you at about $10. The staff were verily helpful, so go and eat there.

My kids love to eat here for the selection, although can be a little pricey for a buffet...they always have coupons, so be sure to grap a coupon before you go!
