This park is always interesting and constantly upgraded. THey take care to have tours with knowledgeable guides. I rated it average because 5 years ago it was a lot better. Time and funds have made this gem a little less shiny, but nevertheless worth going. Children will enjoy the railroad station and firetruck. Great opportunity for children to view how Florida was in the 1800's. Great photo opportunities here, don't miss the Log House.

ITS FREE!!!!!!!!! and it is very nice. You can easily spend 3 hours here. The docents are of mixed ability but most are very good.

What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon, strolling through the gardens and village. One of the nicest things was a $1 bottle coke at the general store in Heritage Village! The gentlemen that told us all about the garage and Model T was delightful. Butterflies were plentiful in butterfly garden and amazing to watch. So glad that such an area exists to appreciate the beauty of this area. We enjoyed the peaceful nature walk so much!

Gives you a good flavour of the history of the area. The volunteers are very helpful too. worth at least halkf a day's time - more if you really are into history.
