Go see this place if you are in Clearwater and there is an event going on. We have been here many times. They have different things happening throughout the year, car shows and festivals. They are really nice to see and usually it is just a donation, not an entrance fee to go. They are very well-organized. I know you will enjoy!

“Premier History Attraction”
Reviewed August 31, 2012

Heritage Village is a must-see attraction in west central Florida. I have been a docent there for 16 years. It's a county-owned attraction so there is no charge, although donations are welcomed. It's situated on 28 acres and there are 26 buildings which have been brought from all over Pinellas County. Some are docent led, others are self-guided. There's the House of 7 Gables, a Mercantile Store, the Plant/Sumner House, Sulfur Springs Railroad Station, etc. It's located next door to the Florida Botanical Gardens so you could easily spend all day there or just 3 hours as you so choose.

Must see park great history, beautiful pictures! We have been here 2 times and both times we had so much fun. We got great family pics with all the buildings and landscape. It even has a live well pump the grandkids loved pumping the water!

“Neat little village”

Nice history, and they had different bands and venders while we were there.
Good place to take the kids or just take a walk through.

“Not for me”
Reviewed August 20, 2012

Went there once, wasn't very memorable, but cool if you're into that sort of thing. I'm not very into American history, but for those who are, I think this would be really awesome for you.
