“Nice people. Decent experience.”

Cashed in our groupon for this activity today and just got back. This is basically a large facility on multiple acres set in north north Lakeland so it's a ways off I4. Basically the experience is riding in an improvised open sided truck through a safari wilderness. In reality, what's happening is two guides are driving you around their property where they have tons of animals and you get to pull along side them and they come up to the truck and sometimes you can feed them. Most of the animals you'll see are herd type animals which is nice. They have zebras, water buffalos, and various other animals, plus an aviary, camel rides, and a Lemur area. The truck type thing has a shaded top but is otherwise open to the elements which was nice for us on a warmer day. The seats are basically the same that are in a school bus but get the job done.

This is a decent experience but considering the non discounted rate is $70 per person I'd love to give this a better review but even with us paying the Groupon rate I'd say it wasn't worth it. You could even pay more money and ride camels and feed Lemurs which would be fine but everything seems just a bit too expensive for what you're getting.

These are decent folks and the place is good but just not worth full price nor a long drive. We paid Groupon rates for 1/2 price and live 15 minutes away and still walked away saying "it was fine". On the good side it looks like the place is still growing as there were a lot of construction things in progress there which makes it seem like the place is growing and getting more things to do.

“Great fun and Learning experience”

I was really impressed with the level of expertise all the staff members have. The safari vehicle tour was conducted by a veterinarian who knew the animals and their habits. The animals came up to the tour safari bus and we were able to feed some of them. The environment gave the animals room to roam free. I learned so much.
I also went on a camel ride. It was invigorating. We toured the ranch with a guide who told us all about it..
I also hand fed grapes to the Lemurs. That was also a fun time. The Lemurs come right up to you and eat the grapes out of your hand. They are very gentle.
