“One of the nicest small stadiums in the country”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

Whether you are here for a Detroit Tigers Spring training game or one of our local Lakeland Flying Tigers games, you will enjoy the lush landscaping, swaying palm trees, cheap beer, and good baseball.

“Great old stadium.”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

Beautiful, old-fashioned major league training park for the Detroit Tigers. Family friendly. A chance to see major league stars up close.

“Good minor league park”
Reviewed October 3, 2012

One of the better minor league baseball parks in Florida. Spring training home of the Detroit Tigers, summer home of the Lakeland Flying Tigers. Easy access from I-4,.

“One of the Oldest On-Going Spring Training Sites”
Reviewed September 30, 2012

This stadium is a small, modern minor league ball bark whose relationship with the Detroit Tigers baseball teams go back to 1934. You can feel the sense of history when they come each and every spring. We go to one or two games in March and have a great time for a modest cost - seats in Section 205 (our favorite) now run about $18- $20. Bleacher seats and a grass berm behind left/center field are less. Parking is adequate and runs about $7. In addition, there is a minor league schedule of games starting in April and concluding with the championship games in September. This year's Flying Tigers won the league championship. All around - good family fun.

“Great Venue”
Reviewed August 15, 2012

So much goes on here year round. A great venue for Lakeland with baseball's spring training, etc. Nice asset for the city. Always clean and easy to get to your seats. Parking is a breeze!
