Palm Beach National Golf & Country Club
Reviewed July 29, 2013 via mobile

This the oldest course in Palm beach...because of its age every hole does something different.thr Par 3 third hole is a island green.the 18th is one of the prettiest holes around.staff is great.the lounge area is very affordable when your round is done..hard to find but worth the look.

I have played here for years. A good course with challenging holes however they are under new management and have let the course go. Greens are inconsistent. Traps are unkept. Played under a 4 hour round and the ranger made us pick up because his friends pimched in for extra holes! For a couple dollars more I would rather play Atlantic National( the old Lacuna).

The back 9 was in better condition than the front. The fairways and greens were in good shape. The 3rd hole was a par 3 on an island and fun to play. The 10th hole is video taped and an award is given if you enter the contest.

Nice course and ultra-helpful in getting singles out in a timely manner. Staff are friendly and courteous. Their buffet lunch after a round is great value.

In a sea of Palm Beach County golf courses providing average and boring experiences, Palm Beach National stands out! Somebody forgot to tell them to not be fun and friendly! Service and attention to the customer is really excellent right down to the flashy wild uniforms. Greens fees are very value-based and competitive, and for $5 more, you get a big selection of lunch choices or a fully stocked all-you-can-eat buffet - not just a dog or burger with chips! The extra bonus is the golf course. Excellent conditions, greens are fast and great and finish the round in 4 hours or less. When full in the afternoon, still no more than 4.5 hours.

All this and just about 1 minute off of the turnpike at Lake Worth Road... You definately want to check this place out!
