Visited Dave's Last Resort since moving to Palm Beach County 13 years ago. Has a Keysee vibe with a menu to match. Great choice of food with fun names. If you don't know you are in South Florida after eating here, you aren't paying attention. Reasonable prices with a typically friendly and attentive wait staff.

We live in Delray Beach but come here a lot. Hadn't been in a while so we decided to make a trip this past Saturday. Got there around 6, sat at the bar. Bobby, or bartender, was absolutely one of the nicest bartenders we have ever had anywhere. Very friendly, very happy, really enjoys his job. He made suggestions for dinner choices, checked on us regularly. When I told him how nice he was, he said our next round was on him! We don't get that at any of the bars we go to in dreary Beach (our home town no less). The menu is really big, lots and lots of choices. I had the Lake Worth Pier salad which was very good and my boyfriend got the chicken tenders, one of his favorites. Bobby told us we should come more often and we just might. Someone mentioned in their review that they wished the stores were open late. Well, there is one store we always go to, and we went there after Dave's on Saturday. It's called Trinkets and Treasures, or something like that. Great store for the women. Clothes, jewelry and other items of interest. Little pricey but if you get an item on sale it's not too bad. Lake Avenue is a much smaller version of Delray Beach's Atlantic Avenue, but it's less pretentious and snooty. :>)

The family goes here often. I love anything buffalo style so I get the buffalo chicken salad and love it. They have a great selection for the children. They have fun, outdoor seating so you can people watch.

The food at Dave's is not eclectic but it is good and reasonably priced. The atmoshere is party like and the drinks are generous, well made and the service is good. Dress is very casual. It would be nice if the shops in Lake Worth would stay open later on the weekends so you could walk off the meal, one can only hope.

As a long time Lake Worth resident, I saw many restaurants come and go, but Dave's remains a local staple. The food is good, consistent. They offer typical "Key West" style menu. I usually have the conch fritters which are pretty good. Overall the staff is friendly, but service can be slow at times. Great spot to visit if you're in the area.
