“Very interesting”

It is an oasis in Florida. The tower is amazing and the music is uplifting. The gardens are beautiful and the meandering paths make you take your time & enjoy the moment. The tour is worth it, but difficult to hear when there are too many people in the tour. We had 28 in our tour; too many. If you lag behind to get a few pictures, you miss the next thing the guide is talking about. Incredible views. The concert was beautiful and so fascinating to watch. Not wheelchair friendly, as walking paths are not paved. Wish we had the time to tour the mansion.

“Beautiful Wedding Spot”
Reviewed March 25, 2013

Our friends shared their nuptuals at Bok Tower Gardens this past weekend. Even with the rain, the location was absoutely magical. A perfect spot for a wedding- maybe one of the prettiest I have seen.

“The Place to go to relax”
Reviewed March 22, 2013

Bok Tower Gardens is just what the name implies. It covers acres of ground and the way it is laid out, you have some pleasant surprises as you travel the various paths. It was designed and laid out by Frederick Law Olmsted, who also designed the gardens for The Biltmore House, Asheville, NC. The central item is the 205 foot tall Neo-Gothic tower which houses the 60-bell Carillon. There are carillon concerts daily at 1:00 & 3:00. If you are in Orlando and plan on going to the gardens, allow plenty of travel time.

“"An island in the middle of Florida."”
Reviewed March 21, 2013

Years ago this was an island in the middle of Florida as the waters of the Gulf and Atlantic had not receded. Today, it is home to an incredibly beautiful stone tower surrounded by a magnificient garden. Gaze upon citrus groves for miles in all directions and enjoy a labor of love built many many years ago.

“lovely gardens”
Reviewed March 20, 2013

Had a lovely walk around the gardens, the bell tower is great for photo's and sounds good. The original walking train around the outside of the garden is simple but informative, the new 11/2 mile trail to the entrance is a bit sparse, and would be better if it was a loop and not the same trail there and back. The cafe does do lovely lunches and icecreams that are more then welcome on a hot day.
