Love this cozy cottage restaurant. The owners are genuinely caring and check all the patrons to make sure everything is going well. Love the blueberry pancakes and eggs Benedict. The staff is great and simply a wonderful experience. I try to go every week!

We have been going to the Pelican for great dinners for five years of visiting West Palm. This time we discovered they serve lunch and Sunday brunch. Wonderful food. My wife is a eggs benedict fan it is very hard to find anywhere that knows how to cook the eggs and makes a good hollandaise sauce. Pelican does both and the entire menu is outstanding. Same wonderful service and always have a bloody mary.

Bought a voucher that Amazon local then saw mixed reviews.
However went along for my surf & turf with a drink.
The starters were so good and difficult to choose, so we had three.
The wild mushrooms were excellent and the hot smoke salmon moose was superb.
When the surf & turf arrived the steak was lovely and tender the scallops were cooked to perfection and the chips were real chips.
We will be back so I can try the seafood platter.
The staff were excellent

Had a delicious brunch on a sunny Sunday morning in this charming restaurant with very outstanding staff. Even before the meal came, they offered us two of their delicious donuts. Sinful before the banana and pecan waffles, which were delicious. Will definitely go back for dinner.

Season is just around the corner, and so are the throngs of tourists from all around the world coming to our little piece of paradise. Wouldn't it be nice to keep one perfect little restaurant with five stars in every category a secret, just for us locals? I thought about it for a second but that wouldn't be fair to the owners of this little gem or all the other diners!
I don't know why it took us so long to discover this restaurant, we did frequent it when it was a french restaurant but thought it was a little stuffy. Now it has been updated and is more comfortable and very clean and fresh. There is outdoor seating that is dog friendly that would be nice for breakfast. Don't be fooled by the casual name, it is an elegant place, great for a romantic date.
The food is the shining star but the service is a close second. We shared the rare tuna appetizer which was very good. Most of the items on the menu lean toward an Italian influence, lobster ravioli, lots of veal choices, rack of lamb, and a homemade soup. I had the filet of sole served with fresh tomatoes in a lemon butter sauce. Roasted potatoes with rosemary were served on the side. The portion size was large and the flavor was out of this world. My husband had the veal chop with a mushroom sauce and he said it was the best he has ever had. It was served with spinach and roasted potatoes.
Mark was our server and he did an amazing job. When we were unsure of our wine selection so he allowed us to do a tasting. He was very knowledgeable and friendly, efficient but not hovering. He made sure our first visit was memorable and we will highly recommend the Pelican to our friends. The manager came by to ask if we enjoyed our evening and we raved. In fact, every single person we encountered, from the hostess to the busboy, to the waiters were smiling and professional. When was the last time you went to a restaurant and felt that sort of customer service? They really treat you like you are a guest in their home.
My only fear is that come January I will be saying Yogi Berra's famous line "nobody goes there anymore, it is too crowded."
I wish them great success (but not too much!)

Thank you so much for your kind words and support. We've worked hard to struggle through the recession and highly seasonal area to develop a top notch restaurant. Please introduce yourself next time you are in so that we can buy you dessert. Your review brought tears to my eyes. Best Regards, Karen Howe & Mark Frangione
