“Sports and bike bar with a twist”
Reviewed June 21, 2013

First and foremost, this is a bar. Sunny day outside, but dark and packed inside with music, TVs, pool tables etc. But, the food is really pretty good too. Great conch fritters and hush puppies. Biggest burrito I've ever seen. The pirate theme is a little hokey, but hey, this is Florida, land of Disney. Fun spot.

“A good old boy hangout..... but better”
Reviewed June 2, 2013

We stopped last Friday during happy hour, and while it was packed, service was great! Really nice selection of beer and a full menu. We just had an app there before going out to dinner. We tried the calamari and it was delicious! It was quite unique with the batter covered carrots and jalapenos. Very creative and described as " the best she's had around here" by my wife. It was very, very lightly battered, which is a must for both of us. Didn't stay for dinner but will the next time. Very friendly, laid back atmosphere.

Great food, music, and friendly staff. Great place to slip into to forget about all of the Palm Beach snobs. Its a locals bar and family friendly. Great place to watch sports.

“Great food and sports bar”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

I am not into sports but I am in to the high quality food that they serve. I am very impressed with the large menu - they have lots to chose from and the service is always good - it is a very friendly casual atmospere.

“Great place to be”
Reviewed March 31, 2013

This used to be Cardello's/wiseguys and while it was okay then, it wasn't the place you would really want to hang out in. ow, under new ownership and with a completely different decor, it is Awesome. We went to grab some dinner and watch a game thinking that we would leave after eating and go somewhere else, but when we got inside, we were made to feel really comfortable and welcome. The owner (Larry ) came and introduced himself to us and chatted with us for a bit, the food was really good and we stayed and watched the entire game and chatted some afterwards. We had such a good time that we returned the following night. Larry came and welcomed us as soon as we got there. The bartenders Amy and Brian also made us feel at home and another great time was had. There is a lot to be said about a restaurant that has good food, good service and great atmoshere, The Pirate's Well Black pearl, has all of this and more. Don't pass it up.
