Wonderful wood grilled oysters and martinis. Best happy hour in town. Best outside atmosphere. Get here early on Fridays and Saturdays because happy hour prices are only served outside, around the sushi bar and another small bar inside.

Last night 4 of us went to Fishbones. My husband's steak was overdone - served with only mashed potatoes, no veggie. My shrimp/scallop casserole (topped with lump crabmeat stuffing) was overcooked - dry scallops and tough shrimp. The crabmeat stuffing was excellent.
Very good salad and bread - though no butter on the table. The orzo, reddish in color was dry, improved only by the lemon I squeezed over it. Steamed veggies were without flavor.

The waitress obviously wanted to be somewhere else. We didn't know we could have ordered baked potatoes until we overheard the waiter at the next table mention them. When she brought the dessert tray, it was dry looking and one of the cake offerings was in pieces.

Not a good experience at all.

Our adult family of 6 started with happy hour on the patio. Great & affordable menu. We moved inside as our reservation time had arrived. The waiter was friendly & knowledgeable. I ordered the rib eye steak with crab meat & asparagus, Yum!.The house chopped salad with olives had wonderful flavor (champagne dressing). They have quite a selection of side items. Another person in our party ordered the stuffed shrimp & scallops & found them tasty and plentiful. My daughter-in-law got the chilean sea bass & my bite was tender & fresh. No room for desert. I noticed that the manager went to each table to assure good quality & service. I'm actually going back on Thursday.

Great Signature Salad and tasty New England clam chowder is served at the bar in FishBones, Lake Mary. The salad resembles a Caesar's, but with tommato pieces; the soup overflows with yummy clams and comes in either a large soup bowl--a meal in its self, or is served in a regular-sized cup, which is plenty if one intends to order additional items, e.g., sushi, or a lunch or dinner entree. While prices for standard fare easily go beyond $30--$99 for wonderful Surf & Turf--charges for the outstanding soup & salad are only $7 (plus gratuity). The FishBone's ambiance is first-rate and the servers, the best!
