We just returned from another wonderful stay at the Comfort Suites Maingate East.
Upon arrival, the front desk staff Orisanda and Trey were very courteous, friendly and helpful and professional.
The building, it's rooms and grounds are very beautiful and well maintained. The hot tub and pool area is very relaxing. The breakfast buffet is always delicious and hot items vary a bit each day.
We always look forward to seeing friends who also vacation there each year, which says much about the quality of accommodations.
The hotel's location near the Disney Parks, many restaurants, the Old Town shops and Saturday Nite Cruise can't be beat.

Room tip: Front side faces the parking lot and Old Town, the back side faces the pool area.

We booked a trip here with High School band. Price per night was awesome. Most every room I seen sleeps 6 people or more. The breakfast bar is really good. Pancakes, waffles, bacon or sausage or ham and sausage gravy/biscuits every morn. along with fruit, bagels, toast. It was really a nice breakfast every morn. Rooms large, only a 10 or 15 min. free shuttle bus to the Magic Kingdom. I would definitely stay here again. It fits my budget. Right next door is a carnival or fair with some good rides and a couple restaurants.

Room tip: The rooms by the elevators are the suites.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Great morning breakfast, nice pool/hot tub, outside bar. Rooms are clean, quiet and spacious, staff friendly and helpful. Restaurants and entertainment near by. Shuttles are helpful getting to parks...the evening pick up is a bit misleading...we waited an hr after closing of Sea World to be picked up and it took an hr to get back to the hotel. The shuttle services a few other hotels so you want to keep this in mind if you have evening plans.

This is our go-to hotel as we arrive in the Orlando area after a 15 hour drive. We have stayed here many years in a row and love it! The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The pool is great and the hot tub is private. Love the pool bar and the BOGO coupons. Breakfast is great - lots to choose from and plenty of seating, as long as the cheerleaders aren't in town! :) Will definitely stay here again!

Me and my 18year old daughter traveled to this hotel. The hotel is very nice and clean when we arrived in our room it was hugh we stayed in the two queen sized bedroom, it was facing old town, the bathroom is very clean and the kitchen comes with everyone what it says on their website but it does not come with plates or forks and knifes so i shouldnt buy some paper ones back home. We noticed that the hotel would be amazing if you was disabled the floor ground is for disabled people and the tables at breakfast has enough room for a wheelchair also the transport buses to the theme parks have all of the equipment to carry a wheelchair. The breakfast is okay for the first few days then it starts to repeat constantly all we ever ate was scrambled eggs, waffles, toast and fruit loops. The hotel is facing old town which is great if youve got kids, however you have to buy a wristband you cannot just pay for one ride if you only like the look of one. The transport can be a bit of a nightmare as it picks up a few hotels before comfort suites so if there are alot of people already on it it may be hard to try to find a seat, the driver then goes on to pick up other hotels even when there is no room at all!!, and the times of the buses can be a bit of a pain as you either get there too early or you get there half way through the day, also the coming back is a nightmare too as everyone is waiting for this bus, however dont let this put you off the hotel because all of the hotels use this bus so it doesnt matter where you stay. But if you want to go to the parks on your own time outside of the pondarrosa theres a busstop the bus is either 56/57 i cant remember but it says magic kingdom on it its only $2 but if you want to get another bus its still $2 just tell the drive you want a hopper before you pay. outside of the ferris wheel theres a busstop where you can get picked up for busch gardens it is free aslong as you have your ticket for busch gardens otherwise you have to pay, it is worse getting this bus as it costs $300 each way in a taxi. The location of the hotel is amazing its about 30mins aways from magic kingdom including all of the hotels stops and about 40mins for universal, it also offers a shopping bus that takes you to lake buena vista shopping mall for free, but if you are interested in shopping i suggest going to orlando premium outlets there so amazing and very cheap too, the reception try there best to help you with all of your problems, however the woman on the ticket desk is very rude and does not help at all, the hotel is in the middle of everyone resturant possible such as ponderrosa, sizzling grill(highly reccommend), kfc, mcdonalds, burger king, red lobster, pizza hunt etc etc etc, so you will never ever go hungry!, we really enjoyed this hotel and the location is very ideal.
Oh yes and by the way all of the reviews saying dont stay here because you can hear old town NO YOU CANT, we was facing old town and you cant hear NOTHING old town closes around 11oclock aswell.

Room tip: the queen sized rooms are very good, has a television in it and has a kitchenette
