My sister and I stayed here for nights. I was a bit nervous as I thought this place would be run down and outdated. We called when our plane landed to see if we could get early check in and they had a room ready for us.

Arrival:
When we arrived we were greeted by Connie at the front desk- she is a wonderful and upbeat person. We had booked a 1 bedroom but were upgraded to a 2 bedroom upon check in. We stopped by the welcome desk and were given a few restaurant recommendations and park maps, which helped plan out our days.

Room:
We stayed in building 10 on the 3rd floor. Our room was awesome! The first bedroom had 2 twin beds and a bathroom attached. The kitchen was beautiful with granite countertops, a stove, microwave, full fridge and plenty of cabinet space. The dining room had a huge table and 6 chairs. Living room had a nice flatscreen, couch and 2 chairs. master bedroom had a VERY comfortable king size bed, a shays lounge and a smaller tube tv. The master bath was huge- had a shower, jacuzzi tube and double sink.

Pool:
They have 2 pools, one was conveniently located right across from our building. Plenty of chairs and a few tables as well. Pool was nice, but there are a crazy amount of little lizards around the property. Some may find this charming to the hotel, I however found it distracting and hard to relax by the pool when they were scurrying around in front of me. The ants are also out of control by the pool.

Overall our stay was great. About a 20 minute drive to Universal and a 15 minute drive to Disney. Plenty of restaurants and shopping near the area. There is a 24hr security guard which was nice. When booking this hotel, make sure to read the newest reviews, this place is updated and very nice for everyone.

Nothing but rave reviews from myself and family. Polynesian Isles was our home away from home. Extremely comfortable, spacious accommodations for our family. We were a party of 2 adults and 2 teenagers in a 2 bedroom unit (could probably sleep 6 max. with the sleeper sofa). We stayed in room 931 for 12 nights (on 3rd floor as recommended by other reviewers).

We started off by pulling in at 2 am and were welcomed and directed by a friendly security guard to the front desk. Check-in was quick and precise by very friendly and helpful front desk. This set the tone for the rest of the week. I have given a detailed review below; as I believe this condo complex deserves.

Staff
- always friendly staff at front desk, security and other staff
- everyone waves to you and makes you feel like you are part of a small community
- checked in very late and missed the timeshare presentation (asked but not pressed to attend later)
- left my iPad in the fitness room and it was returned
Kitchen
- Well stocked kitchen with granite counter tops (everything you need for utensils)
- Dishwasher, fridge, stove, oven, microwave and all the amenities of home
- 6 seat dining area with 3 seat breakfast nook
Bathrooms
- 2 rolls of toilet paper per week (make sure you get some)
- Large ensuite with large jetted tub, shower, toilet and double sinks
TVs
- TVs in living room (with DVD player), main bedroom and 2nd bedroom
Living room
- pullout sofa and 2 arm chairs in living room
- Nice little 2 chair screened deck with ceiling fan
- computer desk with WIFI that is not always available except later at night and early in morning due to multiple users
Bedrooms
- Very comfortable beds and bedding with ample pillows
- 2nd bedroom with separate bathroom (shower/tub, toilet and sink)
- 6 large pool towels supplied in room
Other Amenities
- Once a week scheduled housekeeping provided
- 2 computers in main building with good internet hardwire connection and printer
- gym with an exercise bike, treadmill and a small Cybex weight stack machine
- Free Orlando Sentinal paper everyday (pick up at main reception)
- Super Walmart just 1 mile away
- Outlet mall stores just 1.5 miles and 4.5 miles away
- 12 minutes to Disney parking and 17 minutes to Universal parking
Pools and Grounds
- 3 very nice pool areas with lots of comfortable loungers
- Various hot tubs located throughout complex
- Pools and hot tubs open 8 am to midnight every day
- Little mini putting green, some tennis courts and basketball courts on the grounds as well (equipment at front desk)
- each building has a propane barbeque (tools at from desk) with picnic table gazebo
- Well kept grounds with a picturesque waterfall and fountain by building 9

Room Tip: Echo sentiments about top floor. We requested and got top floor on reservation. Building 9 quieter...

I just spent the weekend at this resort and its beautiful. Pictures dont do this place justice. I thought it was going to be outdated but everything was updated. The staff was amazing, rooms were very clean, HUGE rooms, fully stocked with silverwear and plates, only 10 min away from disney, close to restaurants, and heated pools. I did have some cons about this resort though such as the $100 security deposit. We had to dip into our spending money to give them that $100 and we wont get it back until next week. I also felt that the rooms didnt get a lot of light and the lights in the condo were super dim, it was annoying when you were trying to put on makeup or find things in the suitcase. Overall this place is great for familys, my family loved it ( two 21yr olds, a 2yr old, a 67yr old, and a 44yr old ). I highly recommend this place if you are visiting the disney parks or are doing activities in the Kissimmee area.

My expectations were low because you'd think it was a dated theme resort. Although it may have been built in the 50's it's all updated.
Granite countertops, spacious is an understatement. Everything was in great condition. Quiet setting. I had all amenities including washer, dryer, stove, walk-in closet, living room, dining room back porch--and I had a single king-size bed with all this space.

Really enjoyed 2 weeks at Polynesian Isles. The resort is well maintained and quiet. Let's hope it stays that way! Pool and hot tub were a welcome retreat after busy days. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and well equipped (albeit a little dark). As per the other reviews, internet is available but slow. I would definitely stay here again if the resort stays as it currently is.

Beautiful suite of rooms on magnificent well landscaped grounds. Everything was wonderful except the very poor wireless wifi.
This place fare exceeded our expectations and we will certainly be back if we come to the area again.
The staff was very polite and accommodating. There was very good security there which made us feel very safe

Lovely resort in a great location. We stayed for 12 nights and found this resort met all of our expectations.. The manager Connie and her staff went out of their way to make our trip enjoyable. We have stayed in the Orlando area for the past 7 years and hope that we have the opportunity to stay at this location again.
