“Clean and convenient but cost does not include breakfast”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 8, 2012

This was a clean hotel and would have been a better value but the cost did not include breakfast, not even continental! The room we booked was 923, a standard two double bed hotel room. It was clean, did not have any unpleasant odors and contained a small microwave and refrigerator. It was me, my 15 y/o son and 12 y/o daughter. The beds were somewhat uncomfortable but that may have only been because I am used to sleeping in a king.
There was an onsite restaurant that served a buffet style breakfast and included items like mini bagels, small cinnamon rolls, fresh and canned fruits, strawberry yogurt, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, waffles, oatmeal, Brits, cinnamon apples (warm), frosted flakes, and fruit loops. The buffet was advertised at $6.99 per person (I think children under 10 ate free with a paying adult) but the cost did not include a drink. Coffee was an extra $1.75 so after tax and a $2.25 tip the buffet ended up costing me $13.00! Not much of a savings if my kids had eaten also (they slept late and ate lunch instead). There was also a little store next to the restaurant that sold danishes, smacks, toiletries, and also pizza, hamburgers, chicken wings, fries, etc. but I did not buy anything from there.
Overall I would stay here again because it is right down the road from Old Town, very convenient to Universal, and felt safe. I would simply plan better for breakfast if I was interested in saving more money.

We (2 adults + 2 kids 13 & 14) stayed for 12 nights in Dec 2011-Jan 2012 over the xmas holidays. We payed for a regular room, but got a suite, probably because the hotel was full and we were staying for 12 nights. We certainly enjoyed the extra space. We had booked along with our 7 day Disney pass using visitorlando.com (link available on hotel's site), and we got a good deal (approx $1900 for hotel & tickets); better than buying directly from hotel and/or buying tickets separately. Experience was excellent. Room was clean and spacious and had all the basic necessities. Hotel was quiet despite being full. We very much enjoyed the heated pool and spa; towels are available by the pool. We also used the tennis courts which are a bit out of shape, but still useable. We actually saw some wild deer right by the tennis courts. We had our car (travelled from Montreal), and so going to Disney World from the hotel was very easy, being there in 10 minutes or so. Staff was courteous and helpful whenever we needed stuff. It's a refurbished 70's style hotel, so don't expect grandiose looks, but it's very well maintained and clean.

I made my reservation at Seralago for a few reasons:
1. I got a discount on my room rate for being a member of the teacher's union.
2. They had suites available to sleep 6 people.
3. It was centrally located and was very close to the attraction we were visiting that day.

On arrival it took a little while to get checked in. It also took a while to get checked out the next morning. (They could use more staff at their front counter.) They were pleasant to me when checking me in and directed me in where my room was located and where to park. Food is available to purchase on the property even though in my opinion it was a little pricey so we actually went off the property to eat.
The room itself was spacious and had the amenities we were looking for, considering it was just a one night stay.
All things considered, we were pleased with our night stay.

The hotel is nice and professional.Good service.Very courteous and prompt staff. The checkin and checkout process was smooth and efficient.Rooms are little small but service quality is very good. The hotel is very centrally located and also provides punctual service to all Disney parks and Sea World plus Universal. The only drawback is the Universal Shuttle returns at 5:00 PM and there is only one shuttle. If number of shuttles are increased then service can be even better.

Room Tip: If you are visiting Disney any room should work, since you will spend time in parks most of the day,s...

I visited this hotel in our vacation to Disney. The place was good ,fast check in and check out and a good price. As we were not in the hotel for the day just to sleep after all the walking in the parks we went to bed late at night. When we noticed late at 11 pm the bed sheets were all wrinkled and with spots. We couldn't call no body at that time to change them and it was really nasty to see that. The next day my son told me his pillow case was also dirty.he needed to get a towel and put it on his pillow to sleep. The other hotel areas of the hotel they looked good

We stayed at this hotel last year for Christmas. We were looking for an inexpensive hotel close to Seaworld. The rate was good when we booked our stay online. Check-in was easy and they suprised us with a bunkbed western fort room. Our 3 kids were surprised. Room was outdated (OK) Carpet was damp & filthy and sink and bathtub trained slow (Definitely not OK). Room needed deep cleaning, not just surface cleaning. Restaurant staff was friendly and kind to kids. Breakfast buffet food was nice. Kids enjoyed game room and pool. We were told that they were showing Christmas movies with popcorn nightly. We had difficulty finding the place where the movie was being shown. We found a security guard by the pool side bar and he let us in to the theater and started the movie. Theater was very nice but no popcorn for kids. It's better for them not to promote kids movies than to do it poorly. We are not picky or demanding people but the filthy carpet and poorly run event left us feeling like we could do much better.

we have spent twice two weeks in this hotel with two small doughters (3&6). Used the kid suites, which is very good value for the money.
Location is excellent, service is fair, room was clear.
Went once into the breakfast restaurant, but there is tons of good restaurants around the place. Only low light is the very noisy old a/c.
I really recommend this place
