“Worst Hotel Experience”
Reviewed March 24, 2008

The worst hotel experience of my life. There are no elevators on the inn side or help to get your luggage to your room. The service is horrendous and the pools are disgusting. There are only 3 shuttles back and forth to disney a day and they usually fill up. The third night of our stay, our room was infested with mold, and it gave myself and my roommates rashes and an allergic reaction. We called the hotel supervisor at 9:30 pm to get either our money back or another room. He replied that there was a flood recently and that he would call us back when he found a room that "didn't smell." We repeatedly called him back within the next three hours as our calls were ignored. At around midnight, frustrated, we went to the hotel lobby where we again ignored. Our parents called the hotel instead and threatened to call the health department if we were not helped. My friend had an asthma attack in front of the lobby in front of all the workers and the supervisor and NO ONE looked at her or helped her as she was crying on the floor. We did not even get an apology, just another room where we had to move our luggage ourselves. FIND A BETTER HOTEL WITH THE SAME RATE!!! YOU WILL REGRET STAYING HERE.

This is a wonderful hotel it is kind of average but not really. Most of the people are complaining about things that wouldn't still be there when you stay. For example, some people complain about noisy people in the hotel. Thats not the hotels fault. So, if you ask me stay at this hotel. It has a wonderful pool! I hope this helped.

I am from Charlottesville Virginia and I recently participated in a Band festival in Florida. This hotel was completely atrocious. The TV was broken there was paint chipping off parts of the walls and the room had a horrible smell. The double beds were tiny and will only fit two people who are shorter than five and a half feet. The shower was half shower half bath. There was mold all over the bathroom.
The facilities were equally bad. The tennis court had grass growing in the cracks and squirrels were using the putting green holes to gather nuts in. The pool had too much chlorine and yet it was extremely dirty. Half of the hotel was closed off because from what i can assume, hurricane damage. The exercise room consists of two old machines and the sauna is a cramped tiny room with wooden boards on the floor. On the way back from my trip i overheard the conversation between my band director and the bus driver and he said "i have been traveling for 25 years and this is one of the worst." I don't know how i can emphasize how bad this place was enough. Find somewhere else.

Orlando is great to visit, however, do not taint your experience with the Ramada Inn.

We rented two rooms, one with a musty smell, the other with a strong bleach odor. The clean towels came with previous guests hair at no extra charge. A shower turned into a bath as the water rose to my shins. And the four busloads of children were so loud that it felt like they were your own in your room, again all extra perks. It was quiet from 12-6 during which time you can struggle to sleep on a mattress from 1982.

I may seem a bit bitter, but only because this was the worst lodging choice I have ever made. Please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

The first rooms that we were given were filthy and smelled horrible. They moved us to a different building, these rooms were cleaner but still not clean. There were ants crawling all over the sink area.

We were promised a baby crib days in advance of our arrival. When we got there they said that their only crib had been given to other guests and wouldn't be available for 3 days. This resulted in poor sleep for our baby (and us).

Staff wasn't very friendly.

I would look at other hotels, as there are many in the area for similar prices that are much nicer.

Do not book a room with only one bed, as they are small and almost claustrophobic. Our air conditioner broke and we were moved to another room with two beds that was much more spacious. No problems with noise and the staff was courteous and accomodating.
