The floors and walls are incredibly thin, we can hear the loud neighbors below and beside us, the conversation in the street, the engines in the drivethroughs beyond. This is not a resort part of town; it feels unsafe. We usually like to go for walks, but we don't even want to try it. People cruise on battered bikes through the parking lot asking for change. The building is very seasoned, and definitely in poor repair. The floor in the living room is soft and creaky in just about its entirety. The fold-out bed is stained. The bedroom window was broken upon our arrival, and kept falling open. The bathroom stinks. The showerhead was so crusted with mineral deposits from the hard water that it barely worked. The shower plumbing pulls out of the wall a good 5mm with no effort. The bathroom faucet didn't want to turn on. Housekeeping threw away a shoelace we had left on the counter. The kitchen materials and utensils are cheap. The fridge doesn't want to close. The outdoor pool is unheated and filthy. There is no hot-tub.

Other than that, the staff was nice. We did not notice any bugs, though after looking around when I first walked in, I had mentally prepared myself for them. It's a place to stay if you're not too picky and you sleep like the dead.

Traveling with a small group and volunteering at Give Kids the World! We arrived at night and the surrounding buildings and businesses add to the bad first impression we felt. In the daylight its ok! Landscaping was nice. Everyone was excellent, very helpful, but not as it appears on the web!

Half of our condos were canceled and we were stuck last minute, but the hotel was ok! The rooms were more expensive than the condo, and the condos were very nice.

The online picture makes it appear that rooms open into a hall, but they open to the outdoors. The outside is not very well lite and the directions to our room added some additional drama. The rooms were in the back across a dead end street behind and beside office. The map from the hotel, while accurate, makes it appear to be a closed campus, but it actually is a hotel and some renovated apartments (suites) with a road dividing the place. The main office and some rooms provide a nice shelter from the main road for the "suites".

The picture makes it appear like a new building but it is just an external face lift. All that said, it is OK! Our suite was cleaner after house keeping came the next day than when we checked in. It just old and worn in areas, my room was mostly clean, and new paint but the carpet and sofa, chair had some nice stains. None of our students complained after the first night. We stayed 5 nights and would do it again in a pinch. The price is ok, not great.

The bed was fine but very small The first day I was a little nervous but the bed appeared clean! The heating and ac had a new control and the shower curtain was new. However, the bathroom is very small. The kitchen area needs some updating.

After the first night I never felt uncomfortable letting the students wall around the complex. There were a couple of other student groups there. We felt safe. It was quite! However, the neighbor is depressed and some street people might make it a little unsettling for someone traveling alone. THIS is by no means a resort property but is close to the parks, 20-30 minutes (8 miles).

If you can tolerate semi remodeled, not afraid of stained, this is your place!

Room Tip: Suites are quite, and off the road, "G" is in the middle of the complex!
