We stayed at Coral Cay resort for Xmas and New Year December/January 09-10. The Town House was ok but it was a bit out of the way for us. To get to Coral Cay there was a long narrow road about a mile long and was pitch black at night! There were small caravan like houses dotted along the road, very weird. There was also a very large Methodist Church situated at the back of the resort and a mobile caracvan park along side the Church. It is classed as a secure gated community!! the gates were open fully evey day that we were there. There were no staff to be seen in the reception or clubhouse, no internet avaliable and the pool was freezing. The weather in Orlando was cold for the 3 weeks we stayed so a nice warm pool would have been great. The hot tub took 3 days to eventually warm up and the dryer was broke, but was fixed by the Management Company within 2 days!! bonus. I felt it was very seedy and felt vunerable at times so couldnt go for a stroll far too spooky. Walmart down the road but if you didnt hire a car you would have to walk with all your groceries, I think not.
