In a good location. We stayed there for 14 nights in December 2012. Very basic hotel, really outdated so needsa complete overhaul. Rickety lifts not what we were expecting at all. Had a number bed in our room which was good could make mattress as soft as we wanted. Nice clean fridge in our room. AC was noisy. Wouldnt stay there again.

We stayed here 18 Dec to 1 Jan. Check in was very efficient, we didn't have to pay resort fees as these were included in the price we paid. Our room was in block 6000 with a view of the pool and jacuzzi. The room had two large sleep number beds, when we couldn't work them we phoned reception and maintenance were there within minutes to show us. There is a full size fridge in each room which is handy, take your drinks into Disney! Our room was cleaned every day, towels changed and toiletries left each day. There was no fusty smell in our room and I checked under the beds, there was no dirt.

We did make the mistake of asking a question at Guest Services only to be talked at for half an hour to attend a timeshare presentation. The woman went on and on and we had to make excuses just to get away. The car hire is double the price of anywhere else, he may not have wanted the business but quoted 300 dollars for three days hire, we hired through Holiday Autos online from the bedroom, collected the car from the Holiday Inn Maingate East hotel, 30 mins walk or 10 dollars in a cab. We paid 150 dollars for car and full insurance inc damage waiver.

Mandolin restaurant leaves a lot to be desired, we had breakfast, kids under 10 eat free but as mine couldn't find anything they liked it was a good job.

The Sports bar is really good, Amy and Michelle are fab bar tenders (Amy, you are very naughty). Drinks are reasonably priced and food is good, can't remember how many Pizza Hut visits we had in the hotel. Stephen is friendly and came to speak on many occasions.

The shuttle bus is good, we used it for a few days before we got the car. It didn't arrive on time but who cares when you are waiting in the sun!! It got full over Xmas but we always got on. Drivers were very funny, singing and telling jokes.

The main pool was freezing but the others were warm, the jacuzzi was hot. The pool staff were very friendly and always spoke.

All in all, we were happy with the hotel. It does need redecorating in places but we were in there for sleep, showers and a drink at night so it ticked all the boxes for us. I think people moan for the sake of it and want to pay for three star but stay in five star. We may have been lucky with our room, some may not but if you get a room where we were you won't have issues.

Room Tip: Block 6000 if using shuttle bus

We had a room reserved via priceline for 5 nights. About 10 days prior to the trip, i called and requested a room with 2 double beds and non-smoking. The attendant at reservation desk of the hotel said that she made the notes in the reservation.
On the day of checkin, they said that they did not find my request in their notes. Doh!!!!
Next, they give me a room in a building that is a short drive around. You park further away and
walk across a bridge to the building.
We opened the doors to the room and my wife said "absolutely NO WAY". It was a room with
2 double beds, but it was a "darn SMOKING ROOM". To rub the wrong side, they got me
to sign that i won't smoke in the room. We are non-smokers and allergic to cigarette smoke.

We went back to the front desk and they said that they are sold out and instead gave me a
room with a "King bed". Damn. I was pissed. We had 2 adults and 2 little children.

In anticipation of this kind of crap with priceline rooms, we took wiht us our inflatable airbed.
The hotel was good to give us a spare blanket the next day.

Now, the air quality in the room is bad. The room has mold/mildew. Most likely in the
carpets. I opened up the A/C to see if the evaporator coils had them, but the coils looked clean.
Moreover, once the system reaches the set temperature, the fan does not run. The smell
is horrible as soon as you enter the room. My eyes were red with irritation for the 5 nights we
stayed there.

Room service was good and responsive. We did not use any of the other services.

They charge a mandatory $12 resort fee. The crap is, their activities were from 9 to 5pm
This is at a time when we usually do outdoor activity.

The pitch their free shuttle services. However, another couple was arguing at the help desk
in the front lobby after waiting a long time for the shuttle and had to take a cab.

This is daylight robbery by the hotel. I am going to file a complaint with Radisson.

The hotel is about 2-3 miles from Hollywood studios and Animal kingdom.
It is about 5 miles from Disney World and Epcot.
Parking is free, but you might have to walk a distance.

One night, there were 8 large tour buses with high school kids that landed. We were afraid
about the noise, running around etc. But the kids behaved. They belonged to music bands.

At any rate. I wish i had not stayed here. Esp for the price which was almost close to $100 and
i could have found a better place elsewhere.

There is a publix close by and their Deli is the best. Just pack your food when you
visit the parks and eat healthy and avoid the overpriced food at the parks.

Room Tip: Avoid priceline. This showed up as a 3 Star hotel. Use Publix to get food. The Kobe japanese restau...

we needed a spot for couple days until our timeshare was available this looked good, close and reasonable. What a mistake we made! The lobby is fabulous, thats where it ends! The carpet in the elevators is so dirty and worn i am surprised the health board hasnt done something. Our room was old, tired and the washroom less than desirable. My sons feet where black the first day from the carpet in the room! The pool area is well done, but seems they only heat one pool(to about 60)and the kiddie pool was intolerable!they have a nice evening movie for children and music around the pool. All in all still not worth the $80, but to top this we went out in the am, cam back 3 hrs later and housekeeping had emptied garbage and made beds(no vacuum or even replacing coffee cups) and had also helped themselves to the few dollar bills my son had left on the bureau for the games room! I quietly mentioned it to the General Manager(Roberto) and he wrote the room down but they never offerred a few tokens for the child or a comp drink! Stay away there are many great clean honest hotels in the area!

Room Tip: do not book there!

The whole resort is big. There are 6 buildings. We stayed at building 6 which has 8 floors. The building is old. The carpet in the elevator is really worn out and need to be replaced. There are two swimming pool but I am really wondering who's going to spending a day in those pools instead of going to theme parking. The hotel has shuttle service to Disney. But I don't recommend that if you want to stay late in Magic Kingdom. The shuttle schedule is not very good.

Room Tip: Don't use hotel's shuttle. Drive to Disney.
