Just returned from a fly drive which myself and other half visited lots of hotels in the Florida area, this was the worst we booked a spa room with booting.com this was the most expensive hotel take we booked I might say.
On arriving the staff greater us we noticed a nasty smell in the reception, but we thought fine were not sleeping here; the room was quite large but again we was hit by a musty damp smell and not very clean at all, we thought that the room looked very dated and very poorly painted, with sticking doors. I complained and was offered another room which we looked at however this was no better, I asked to talked to the manager who seemed very rude when I pointed out the points and told me we could checkout, I then asked about a discount as the room was very expensive she gave us 10$ off. The breakfast was basic and in an old room with very little seating even the fire door was covered with a plant. The only nice thing was the pool seemed clean but would not use outside loo (nasty) and was the only place that kicked people out the pool late at night... Over all avoid this hotel lots better in the area.

Room Tip: Don't book here!

Wow! I've been visiting this place for years with my kids because of affordability. This vacation we decided to come back, and we were pleasantly surprised! New rugs, new furniture, nice beds, plenty of towels, fridge, ironing board & iron, blow dryer, nice pool, complimentary breakfast, and laundry facilities! Outstanding for the price! We usually just sleep in and spend the day in and about town, this time we enjoyed lounging about and using the pool! They also honor coupons! Good place to stay!

Room Tip: Rooms by the pool will have an additional charge but any room is fine.

The hotel is adequate but the view of the lake is really nice. The room was small with the huge piece of furniture that housed the television set taking up most of the space. Our room was dirty when we checked in with gunk in bathtub and fingerprints all over the inside of the window. Breakfast food was acceptable but the experience was a nightmare as breakfast is in an unused hotel room and is very small. However, the absolute worst thing are the odd bugs that look like termites. There were dead ones in our unused towels and coffeemaker, live ones outside and inside the room. One housekeeper said that yes they were termites, another said no that they weren't. Although the room was what I would consider adequate, we don't plan to stay there again.

Room Tip: If you are planning to stay here, choose the back side next to the lake.

This is actually a hard hotel to review. If I could give it a 3.5 rating I would. I was looking for an economy hotel that would sleep six. This fit the bill. It was advertised as two beds and a sleeper sofa. It actually had three beds which worked out nice. Having 2 bathrooms was also a nice addition. The room was only $70 (before tax and fees) with a Hojo discount for booking in advance. We stayed for 5 days so we experienced most of the hotel. The room had a full kitchen with full size fridge, stove, and dishwasher. However, there was no microwave which would have been more useful than the stove. Not much could have been cooked in the room as there was only one small skillet and one small sauce pan. Dishes were also limited to 3 plates and 4 glasses in a room that sleeps 6.

I would give housekeeping a B. the beds were nicely made and the carpets vacuumed but I don't think the bathroom floors were sweep the whole time we were there. There was also a trash can under the kitchen sink that they missed half the time. In terms of cleaning the biggest draw back were the carpets. They REALLY needed shampooing. We split some water on the carpet and after wiping it up with a white towel it was black!

A free breakfast was offered each morning 7-10 am. It was toast, bagels, muffins, pastries, fruit, cereal, juice and coffee. The breakfast area is really crowded but trays are provided to take food back to your room. The lady that took care of the breakfast area did a good job. She was very pleasant, kept things fully stocked, and did a good job of keeping things cleaned up.

A free shuttle is offered to the parks but it is very limited. It has two departure time and two pickup times and only services Epcot at Disney World then you have to transfer to a shuttle to get to the other parks.

Some rooms are being renovated with new furniture. However, they pulled the matresses out of one of the rooms and leaned them up in the walkway leading to the pool where they stayed for 2 days. Just not very appealling to walk past.

Overall this hotel fit what we needed. There were just a lot of small items that could really be improved on. If we return to the area we would consider this hotel again but I would see what else was available and comparable first.
