Although tricky to find, this place is worth it. Follow directions on their adverts found in hotels etc and not the directions in the Orlando magazine as they were vague at best. We took the 45 minute tour which used smaller boats instead of the 30 minutes which used boats that could carry about 17 people. Our boat could only take about 6 and because no one else was there at our time, we got a private ride. Captain Wayne was fabulous. A soft spoken southern gentleman. He was incredibly knowledgable about the area, the wild life and obviously loves what he does. We had a nice mix of fast with zig zag turns and very slow to see alligators, snakes, birds, wild turkeys, and even some cows. It felt like taking a boat ride with an old friend. When we found one very large alligator we sat quietly for about 15 minutes watching it while Wayne told us about the area, the alligators habits and diet. Also chatted some about the geography and history of the area. Left feeling very relaxed and laid back. Loved this attraction. Would go back tomorrow.

we found Boggy creek while researching our holiday and thought why not ??
in our group of 8 were 4 children aged 12, 11, 8, & 7 years, we all had a fantastic boat ride and loved our guide who was eager to share his knowledge, we were lucky to see lots of wild life, we read some of the reviews and had mixed thoughts of what to expect, take things at face value, your there for the boat ride, anything else is a bonus and even though i didn't feel the photo's were expensive (and we did buy lots to show our friends and family of such a great time) there was no pressure to buy them !!!
get there early as it can get really busy.

Took our family to Boggy Creek Airboat 45 min ride at $56 pp., thinking that we would see more of the the swamp area and wild life...

T H E R E I S N O S W A M P... just a lake with a few marsh grass patches...

This was a huge disappointment. Second, the reason this tour takes 45 mins is because you make two stops in the water and just sit there for 5-10 mins and do nothing. JUST SIT THERE IN THE WATER.

Heck, if I would have know that I'd have just bought the 1/2 hour tour without the idol sitting and saved money. So, if you're thinking of seeing the swamp don't go on this one and if you do, take the short tour and save money and remember THERE IS NO SWAMP!

Before I went on the ride, I thought the main part of the ride was seeing wildlife close up, but it turned out that the riding part was the one that stole the show. You go quite fast, and get sprayed by water often. The ride is also VERY loud, even with the headphones on. We did go on the one hour your, but I recommend the half hour tour, since it does get a bit boring after a while. My favorite part was taking pictures with baby alligator (Fluffy). He was adorable. All in all, it was a pretty nice place, I just think that the tour might have been better with more wildlife.

We very much enjoyed the tour and our guide Eddie was very shared lots of interesting information and had a great sense of humour. saw lots of wildlife including a gator..we learned alot about the ecosystems of this area that we didn't already know. FYI - photo ops are costly (some of the cost goes to conservation)and the ride is quite windy - making it a bit cool on the water so bring a jacket or sweater. Would recommend this tour
