Typical Red Lobster serving good quality middle of the range seafoods and a limited steak n chicken for those who honestly can't do seafood but have been dragged in by those who love seafood. Pleasant seating. Now revamped to provide more booths/stalls instead of tables. Most of staff very cheerful and pleasant but a couple of miseries. Delicious biscuits served hot as starters. Control yourselves and just have one of these melt in the mouth buns.
Salads crisp and fresh with prepacked rather grim croutons which could have been fresh or at least oven - enlivened so easily.
Maine Lobster chosen for you or by you is delicious. Snow crab legs are reliably good. Shrimp (king prawns in uk ) very good indeed. Moist and not rubbery. The flounder with fries was rather uninspiring, with the fish slightly overcooked and dry. It would be so much better to lightly pan fry this delicate fish rather than try to deep fry it, which requires some subtlety and perfect service timing. Beers are cold.
TIP: Go to this branch in preference to the other one further up the road at #7780. For reasons see my other review.
