This was only our second visit to Disney and our kids loved it and we did too. Jaccuzi in the master, a separate room for the teen boys with their own bathroom and mini fridge, and....3 bathrooms and TVs? I went thinking it was a condo not a resort, if you really read all the info and actually called and checked it out first you would know that. I guess it's all relative: resorts to condos to hotels. It was very nice and would go back in a minute but yes, they so need wifi in the rooms/resorts/condos. Resorts are in Jamaica, Mexico and the Bahamas. Maybe next time all the complainers can pay more for the better section. :)

Room Tip: All you had to do was go to the front desk and get all the towels etc. that you needed. The people at booking are very nice so I would advise to check for availabilty online then talk to someone at the front desk to book. I can not believe people would take an almost free trip here and complain about the time share talk when that was certainly no surprise.

We usual stay at Disney, but couldn't get the deal we wanted (Canadian thanksgiving, so no deals, darn you disney!), so we took a chance, and booked a 2 bedroom condo/unit here... Easy to find, although Orlando/Kissimmee traffic signs suck... but still a handy map got us there in less time then it takes me to get to work in the morning, so no worry!

Check in easy, yes very busy, but at the front of the line, saturday's are their busy time, but expected, read that in reviews before.

Our unit was an older unit across the street, wasn't thrilled at first, a 5 minute walk from the pool.. but in the end, that walk wan't bad at all! Unit was not one of the updated ones, but it was still nice, yes the mattresses need to be replaced soon, and the couches were ok, seen years of customers, but still no rips, tears, stains.. all ok, kitchen was ok, fine for a unit this size and our family, we're not making any turkey feasts, so it was a perfect apartment size kitchen! great for spagetti our first day, and breakfasts. Heard no noise or smells from the other units. TV's were great, relaxed every evening, while the kids watched cartoons on their tv.. perfect. Every morning, our son would have his breakfast on the screened in patio, very nice idea of the screened in patio!

There was a pool, just a regular inground pool 100 feet from our unit, but used much, and tennis courts.. but the main attraction was the main pool across the street! perfect for kids, spent many many many many hours there every day after and before disney! the lazy river was fun and relaxing, the main pool was nice and perfect for kids and large!! and the water slides kept the boys occupied. Lifeguards are good, the girl was a bit picky, but it's her job.. (everybody had to wear the wristbands they were given for access to the pool/slides, etc.. and ummm they don't stay on little kids arms well, so instead of throwing them in my backback with the towels I had to essentially wear 3 wristbands on my arms but hey, it's her job to make sure people are safe obeying the rules).

In the end, yes this unit was in line to be updates (they were doing ones across the parking lot when we were there, so we know it was coming), but it was still nice, we loved it, had a great time, pools were amazing for families, food nearby was great (arby's and all you can eat pizza right behind the hotel!!), shopping and very very easy access to disney!.

Next time we go to florida, we will most definately be back at the same place! Entire family loved it, and the kids still talk about it!

Room Tip: If you can get a room on the north side of the road fairly close to the pool, it will save a bit of walking.

There's an old saying that "bad sex is like bad pizza; even when it's not really good, it's not really bad." (A saying which, by the way, is not true.) Vacation Villas II in Kissimmee is sorta like that: It's not really bad.

First of all, while it's called a "resort," it's not. It's 3 or 4 typical 4-story motel buildings, with a small "clubhouse" (really a timeshare sales office with a modest lobby), a small pool, a very small kids' playground (really just a climbing tower and sand), and a few picnic tables and charcoal grills. That's it.

And the rooms are, essentially, small: The one room suites put a full bathroom, a double bed, and a kitchenette in about 16x16; you could pour coffee from the kitchen while sitting on the bed. Ours was a larger "4 person" suite, with 2 bathrooms (actually huge), one bedroom, and a sofa bed, with a full kitchen that was actually roomy.

But here's the rub: That's it. You get this perfectly maintained set of buildings, a tiny pool, and a lobby that closes at 11 PM so you have to sit on the curb to use the WiFi, which is limited to the lobby. That's your "resort experience." Everything is nice, but there's not much everything: Yes, there's a laundry room; no, it's not free for guests. Yes, there's WiFi, but no, not in the rooms. Yes, there are fluffy towels, but they're a bit threadbare. Kleenex in the bathrooms? Yes, but only one box per room. Parking? Enough, but just barely, once the hordes of timeshare gulls swarm in. Staff? Not rude, but no one really willing to go out of their way to help, either. Decorated fully? Yes, if you like the 1970s (avocado is big in the color scheme). Vending? Sure, but only in the lobby (which, yes, closes at 11:00 pm).

So there aren't any drawbacks, really, to this place, but no draws, either. It provides a place to sleep after you've done the Disney/Universal/SeaWorld thingy, and it's safe, and you can fight your way into a pool and tiny hot tub - maybe - and cook something. And it does that job just fine. But don't expect more. It is what it is: The best in mediocrity, and that - like mediocre pizza - ain't bad.

Room Tip: There are no good rooms. And there are no bad rooms. But if you're claustrophobic, get the larger rooms.

I did not have a good first impression of this villa from the outside. We had a two bedroom, 3 bath villa and it was actually very clean and comfortable for 4 adults and 2 children. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and overall the living area although a little small for 6 people would have been great for 4. The appliances needed an upgrade as the refridgerator made noise and the drawers in the bottom were in poor condition. The swimming pool/hot tub area was very adequate and clean. Did not appreciate the leaf blower to clean off the stairs and walking areas at 8am. No housekeeping, but this was not a big deal for us. We were given clean towels once in the 6 days we were there. We did use the washers and dryers while there which was a positive with children. This villa was in a perfect location for access to all of the Disney Parks. There were several shopping areas around and some really good restaurants close by.

wifi is about the most inexpensive amenity to provide, and to not have it available is inexcusable. In todays economic climate, people need access to the internet for finance, business and personal use.

The Ceiling fans are broken in the unit and you cant adjust the speed. Most everything is out dated and shows obvious signs of wear.

I will attend the Sales-Pitch meeting, but no matter how pretty they make it sound, the lack of wifi is a Deal Killer

Room Tip: If you need wifi when you travel, find another place to stay.
