Staff very cold. Food was awful. They call themselves a steak house and serve dry, tough steak. Will not be eating there again.

After visiting the Texas Roadhouse a few doors down we were really keen to try the new Logan's Roadhouse.

On arrival we were surprised to see that it was not as busy as expected and were given a table without a wait which was rare during our visit.

Once seated a drinks order was taken within the first 10 minutes, the menus brought over and a pail of nuts left for us on the table. All well so far.

Having been seated 20 minutes we still had no drinks. Our server came to the table and told us that the woman working behind the bar was really busy with orders backing up and that he would get them to us as soon as he could. We persevered and asked to put our food order in as we had all decided and were just waiting for someone to come by to take them.

30 minutes after being seated we could see our server behind the bar. We could see him pulling some pints and the woman was making a cocktail. We were hopeful that these would be our drinks as we had ordered 3 pints of beer, 2 bottles of beer and a cocktail, nothing too taxing. Alas they were not! We waited about another 5 minutes for our drinks to finally arrive.

On arrival we looked at our pints. Considering we had seen them just be pulled on draft there were no bubbles. We tasted them and they were completely flat. 2 of these pints were Coors Light, the other Bud Light so you could not even blame it on one bad draft. The bottled beers were fine. The cocktail did not have the slightest hint of alcohol.

We called our waiter back over. We explained we were not happy and he was flapping, not sure what to do. We asked him to get the manager. In the meantime the female bar attendant could obviously see we were not happy and so came over to see what was up. When we said we had waited over 30 minutes for our drinks her reply was a defensive "oh really." Either she is bad at her job or there was a mix up and our order was never put in despite us chasing it long before this point.

We thought we would get some sense from the manager. When he came over and was questionned about the service he replied that the bar attendant was in demand from another large party at the other side of the bar and so there was little she could do to help it. No apology or acceptance that this was poor service. Perhaps a good manager may have been available to help out?

When we said the beers were flat his response was "well in my opinion those types of beer are just like that anyway." I am sure the breweries that supply him would be happy to hear this! He could offer no reason as to why there was no alcohol in the cocktail.

With the inability to serve drinks, we did not stick around to see what issues would arise with our food order. We cancelled and left by now very hungry for the Texas Roadhouse.

On leaving we bumped into a young couple, the woman heavily pregnant, who had been made to wait outside by that point for 20 minutes for a table. This was despite the fact there were plenty of empty tables inside. They too thought better of their choice and also headed to the Texas Roadhouse.

If this is what this restaurant is like when it is new and fairly quiet, I would not like to visit if they got a rush on.

I ordered pork chops to share with my child. They came back extremely salty. I couldn't eat them. My spouse tried them too and they were way to salty for his taste too. He had a full rack of ribs and the outside was tough. The inside was tender and juicy. My other child had ribs and didn't like them either. We decided not to return and eat there. The service was great. We had a great waitress plus plenty of entertainment on the television screens but the food wasn't great. Anyone who has a peanut or nut allergy should NOT go to this restaurant. It serves a bucket of peanuts to its customers. I rated this poor for the food not for the service.

This is something of a typical roadhouse - booths, peanuts, great music, beer, steaks and burgers. We venjoyed all aspects of the offer and the food was excellent.

The food was good. Our server, Danny, was attentive and knew the items on the menu. First time there so took a little to decide on menu. The salmon salad was EXCELLENTLY prepared. I do think I would ask for a different dressing the next time.
