“We are glad that we decided to stay at this beautiful resort!”
Reviewed April 9, 2010

This resort was so nice, clean and well maintained. We stayed in the high rise which is the newer part for non-timeshare owners. We were in a 2 bedroom/2 bath unit and it was so nice. Both bedrooms had enough closet space and flat screens mounted on the wall. The master bedroom had only a shower but the other bathroom which is just outside the 2nd bedroom, had a nice size tub/shower combo. The living room area was a very nice size and there was even a screened in patio area right off the living room. The pool/hot tub area was very nice however, while we were there it was too cold to go swimming. The only difference staying here then at a hotel (besides being in a cramped hotel room) is that you have to take your trash to the dumpster located on property, take the sheets off the beds and put them all in a pile, and load the dishwasher and start it. Also, there is no daily maid service unless you ask for it and there is a fee for it. This is a beautiful resort and I will stay here again!!

Just got home from a 2 night stay at Barefootn'. We stumbled upon the place, as we like to stay close to Old Town. Had a room in the high rise, which is indeed very new. Very clean, nicely stocked, though we didn't know, or we would have brought foot! Bathroom was spotless, only noise was someone's car alarm that went off for about 15 minutes! And the noise from Old Town, but that closes at midnight.
The $7.99 a day internet access is excessive, and their idea of breakfast was cold cereal and coffee. For the price, which is quite high for the area, splurge on breakfast, and include wi-fi. We definately would return.

We went to Orlando for an extended weekend and stayed at barefoot'n in the keys. We were in the new highrise, I was told it only opened last June. The place was very clean and fully stocked with towels, soaps and kitchenware. The only complaint I have is the internet fee being $7.99 per day. Other hotels and even McDonalds give free internet. I asked and I was told that the new building does not have internet in it yet. Would have made since to prewire for that when it was being built.

We stayed here for 2 weeks through RCI and enjoyed it thoroughly. The condo seemed to have been upgraded recently and everything looked well.

Lovely pool. Free breakfast, though we didn't go. Near lots of restaurant and The Old Town with its amusements, car and bike nights and shops. Security at night and gated.

The only complaint I have is the price and quality of the internet. $30/£20 for a week seems rather a lot and we could only get the internet near our bedroom window. Other people couldn't receive it at all in their rooms. I understand they are working on it so things should improve.

Recommended and not much more expensive than the lower-grade hotels nearby.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon from the end of Dec 2009 to the beginning of Jan 2010. We had a fantastic time and we were amazed at how spacious the 1 bedroom suite was! All of our family and friends couldn't believe the price we paid for this room since we don't own a timeshare and it is a timeshare resort. We got such a great deal! The bed was super comfy, the bathroom was very big, the kitchen came with everything that we needed, the living room was great, and the balcony was huge! We encountered the housekeepers on a couple of occasions and they were also wonderful to talk to just as the staff in the lobby was.

The only complaint I have is the noise. Since our room was an adjoining room we could here the kids next door but luckily they were only there for the first 2 nights of our stay. We could also here the people above us walking around. If the noise was better it would've been an A+ resort but I would still give it an A.

It is also very close to Old Town with lots of fun rides and stores. The noise level from Old Town was very low and most of the time we couldn't hear anything! We walked over there to spend New Years and we had a blast. Lots of fun bars and live music for the younger group in Old Town. All in all, our honeymoon was amazing and the resort we chose made a BIG difference! Can't wait to stay here in the future when we have kids!

We stayed here for 28 nights in June/July 2009. We loved the whole stay from beginning to end. Staff were very helpful, and friendly, nothing was ever too much trouble. We were located in the new block, and were the first to stay in the apartment. Had full size kitchen, also laundry facilities, balcony, large fridge, infact all that you needed for a stay, especially a long one like we had. Located just to the side of the Old Town, but very quiet, even at the weekend when the Old Town is busy. It is gated, so we felt safe. There is a security guard at night too. Ideal location to get to and from disney, also ideal to hit the I4, restaurants located nearby, and also supermarkets not far away. Have stayed in Kissimmee and I drive area before, but this was such a nice experience, would go there again without a doubt.

My husband and I booked for the first time through RBI. It was nicer than some of the reviews I had read but is in a bad part of town but the security gates made us feel safer. We did encounter a possum one night at our back door. The place was somewhat run down but everything worked well and was clean. the only and biggest complaint was the internet service. My husband is a professor and needed the internet to upload class work. We paid $30 for a full week of internet service that seldom worked and when it did, it took up to an hour to connect at times and then shut down within minutes, we complained but was told by the internet service we would have to sit in the room the next day and wait on the service rep. while we were on our vacation. Barefootn only apologized and said they would notify management. This will keep us from going back there again in the future or recommending it to anyone else.
