We stayed at this resort in October 2012 for 2 nights. We didn't get to spend too much time at the pools, but the splash pad area was great! Plenty of room to let all the kids run around! The room was great! Loved all the attention to detail. Stayed in the Little Mermaid section, we didn't find it to far to walk back to the front by the cafeteria area. We enjoyed the walk and going through all of the other sections of the resort! Many photo opps! The gift shop on premises was great too! We thought that the cafeteria had plenty of options for all of us. We didn't have a meal plan, but thought the food was still a good price! We would stay here again in the future!

I'm gonna start with the only negative thing cause it's only one. The furniture is a bit cheesy and cheap looking.

OK - now that thats out of the way. Great resort! Amazing lobby, colorful, rooms are a great size. Stayed in a suit with three teens. We had our own bedroom with private bath and the kids had the fold out couch which was comfy and the table overted into a bed for my son. They also had their own bathroom.

The grounds are so playful with the diff themes in the hotel area, the food court was hug with good food and the pool area is awesome!!

We stayed in the Finding Nemo section and I would stay here again in a heartbat!! Way to go Disney!!

Disney's Art of Animation is new, clean and all Disney! We stayed in the Cars section. We have 3 kids, 13,11, and 9. The room had 2 full bathrooms which is so great! The room also sleeps 6 comfortably. It is convenient to the transportation center and has a great store. The cafeteria is really crowded if you don't get there by 9:00 am for breakfast. My kids loved the fact that they felt like they were staying in Disney with the Disney themed rooms.

This new resort is a joke...first, there are NO shuttle stations [like Port Orleans, e.g.]. Second, there is one small and very busy food cafeteria. Third, the room is VERY small. Forth, the beds are kid's size beds and not recommended for kids above age 5. Overall, a very disappointing visit to the New resort. I do not recommend this place nor will I go there again!

Room Tip: Do not go there!

When we first got there we were given our room keys and everything right away because we checked in online, which made it so easy and seamless. We were in the Little Mermaid standard room. Since we were celebrating our anniversary we requested a room with one big bed and a view of the lake in Building 7. We were in Building 9. With a view of the parking lot. With 2 double beds... We called the front desk and we asked if we could be moved to a room with one bed. They said it wasn't guaranteed that we would get the things we requested. They said those rooms were handicap accessible and that they would see if one was available. If there was they would call us. We didn't hear from them ever again during our stay.
Either way I love Disney and the Little Mermaid room, though small, was amazing! The theme was done with just the right amount. Not over the top.
Though it was quite a walk from the standard rooms to transportation it was still convenient to stay on property for our celebration.
On the day of our anniversary we got a call from Mickey and Minnie on our voicemail. It was very special and made me happy.
The Landscape of Flavors was always busy but very efficient. Decent prices.
It was cold so we didn't get to enjoy the pools but I heard if you put your head underwater you get a little surprise.
Our check out was non-existent. We had "Express Checkout" which meant they would email us our receipt and we had to be out of the room by 11 am. That is it.

If you are looking for a cheap place to stay with a good Disney immersible experience definitely stay here! It was very nice. And the cast members were very helpful. Magical.
