I spend in this hotel 5 days on budget travel to Orlando.Hotel is clean and very well maintain.Staff(reception and maintenance)is very friendly and profesional and willing to help in any sytuation.General Manager of the hotel in particular is extremely nice person. The only minus at the time of my travel was that they did not have contract (yet) with shuttle service from the airport and taxi costs approx.$60.But gues what!?-when I made complain about it,manager offered me a ride and she drop me to the airport herself!!!!!! I will definitely go back to this hotel in the future and I recomend it to all budget travelers.
..

Room Tip: get rooms on 2nd or 3rd floor. The are nicer

Cheap price but not worth it. Pay for internet and shuttle even if you do not use it.
Room was awful, dirty carpet, shower surface peeling, toilet was plugged when we arrived, interent never worked(didn't charge us) even though a tech.tried several times to fix it, went out for breakfast as hotels consisited of sugar donuts & so called waffles and bad coffee, refridgerator quit working on our second day, so called shuttle leaves at 6:45am and only returns once at night-front desk advised us to drive our car. Oh yea, deadbolt didn't work.
Stay away.

Room Tip: Pay more to get better amenities,

Just returned from 2 weeks in Florida. Booked the Econo Lodge as was quite cheap, now i know why. The hotel was a right dump, staff was very rude and not helpful and the breakfast was basically first come first serve with a crap selection of blueberry or banana muffins and hard bagels. We had only the bed made daily, we was without toilet paper for 2 days and the bathroom was not cleaned for the whole 2 weeks. There is not A/C at all its just a fan that is noisy and blows out hot air. On the first day we had to call someone to fix the toilet (as was not flushing) and to look at the bathroom door as would not open. We got told that there was a wakeup call service which we used as we was planning on going to Universal Studios however they never rang to wake us which meant we was late for the bus!! :@ I would not recommend on staying here. Worst hotel i have ever stayed at!!

We have stayed in many Disney area hotels but this one was the worst. First they booked us into a "storage room" in error. The second room they tried to book us in had dirty sheets (I always check for signs of bed bugs and clean sheets). The third room was OK but had no cups. The maid service did not come the second day; apparently the hotel failed to property "book" us into our room. I asked they night if they at least could give us clean towels. No, they had no towels. Then the manager called our room at 12 MIDNITE and asked our name and if we were in the room. Apparently they were trying to figure out who was where....The next morning I tried again to get clean towels- still no towels. The second morning they ran out of breakfast- nothing at all left when we got there before 9 AM. We didn't bother trying for breakfast the third morning. The AC/heater was loud, thankfully I had ear plugs. The front desk never answered the phone when we called them, even when we tried calling from our cell phone and not from the phone in the room.

This hotel was horrible. Staff was incredibly rude, there was no hot water in our room, and they charged a "service fee" for the free complimentary shuttle they offered. Not only was the shuttle not free, it was over an hour and a half ride to get 15 miles, not to mention overly crowded.

I always book with chain hotels, Choice Hotels preferred, as I am very budget savvy. I saw the location of this hotel and was well familiar with its area of other cheaper hotels with minimal ameneties. I was in town for 1 night and wasn't looking for a relaxation, just a shower, tv and bed with my husband and niece.
It's a lot easier to get to this hotel from I92, just take a left on Polynesian and another left behind the hotel in the front. This hotel is set behind another. It looks a bit off-setting at first, but then again it is an old building. You drive around to the front (follow the signs where check in is) and it's nicely lit and tucked in.
I was welcomed by a lovely agent by the name of KAT. She was very nice and inviting that I really felt appreciated. She was pleasant, even at that hour and she was the same woman that checked me out in the morning! I would recommend staying her beore Knights Inn, Travelodge or Rodeway Inn only because of KAT and the man JIM as well. Nice folks that you could tell made a huge effort in keeping with the chain. The rooms were fine, clean and stocked. Didn't expect too much. But, I felt safe and there was lots of lighting!
Really will stay there again. They were incredibly nice!

My sister and i went to Florida for a week trip. I had made the reservations online and was told that the hotel was indoor, the pool was heated, and they had a free shuttle to the attractions. When we got there it was no longer the econo lodge polynesian but two seperate hotels that shared the same pool. It was not inclosed like the web site showed but instead it was all out side, when you walked out your door you were out side. And the pool was not heated. Our original room that we were in the door would not lock the battery had died and they fixed it right away for us. I do work in a hotel so i understand that things like this happen. Well the next day we had to catch the shuttle at about 7:00am to go to Sea World and found out the the shuttle only runs once there and once back and that if we missed it we were out of luck we had to walk or take a cab which cost a heck of alot and we were about 14 miles from the hotel. The next morning our door would not lock again and this time we had to leave our stuff in our room unlock and unattended until noon when the maintance man woke up. We had to catch the shuttle at 7:00am again. The maintance man was also very unprofessional he was always asking my sister and i to go drinkimg with him in his room or to go out with him someplace or to drink in our room. We gave him an excuse everytime as to why we could not. Then on the second to last day that we were there our battery died again but this time it locked us out of our room, they had to take a panel our to the wall in order for us to get in the room. The hotel would not give us any money back, and the people that we made our reservation through would not give us any money back because they said that it would have to be investigated and that had we called they would have moved us to a different hotel but they did not tell us that when i made reservations.
