This was our home base for five days of golf. We played twice at the Orange Lake Reserve course and used the driving ranges at the resort. We opted to play two courses in the area, but there were three other courses at the resort. This time share is well maintained with groomed lawns and plenty of vegetation. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well stocked. While we had a few very minor complaints and they were fixed promptly. There are numerous restaurants in the area. All in all it was a convenient location to enjoy the area. We plan to return here next year.

Hello and welcome home from your recent vacation stay with us. It’s great to hear that you were able to enjoy yourself around the resort, especially on the golf courses. Nothing makes us happier than hearing how our guests spent their vacation with us. You couldn't give us any higher compliment than a return stay with us, and we hope to see you again soon.

This property is a time share. We went to the presentation, in exchange for free passes to the resort's activity package for our two teens and a $30 dining credit, but definitely turned down the outrageous proposition of spending over $41,000 to buy a week here! The pitch is intense, so be prepared to stick to your guns. The promised 60 minute presentation turned into 3 hours and we had to sit through 2 additional pitches from our agent's supervisors before we got our $110 deposit back.
If you have a large group, then this is a good place to stay, as you can prepare your own breakfast before heading out to the parks. At the end of a busy day at the park, it is nice to have a living room to relax in and separate bedrooms. We make a quick trip to Publix to pick up milk, cereal and coffee. We are never able to take advantage of all the amenities a place like this has to offer. We would prefer to be in a bungalow rather than a highrise and there are plenty of those available to rent throughout Orlando and Kissimmee. Try a site like Owner Direct. Our screened in balcony did not receive morning sun, so we couldn't take advantage of sitting there to have our coffee.
This is a good location, central to all the theme parks. Be aware that this is a massive resort!

Room Tip: if you want to stay in a bungalow, ask if units are available in the East Village.

Hello and thank you for taking the time to let us know about your recent stay with us. We’re so happy to hear that you were able to enjoy your villa and the amenities around the resort. Our kitchens are convenient for our guests who do not enjoy eating out ever y meal. We appreciate you taking the time to attend one of our property tours. Set at 90 minutes, these tours are a great way to find out about the amenities around the resort as well as what vacation ownership can do for you. However, based on questions you may have or your level of interest they can run longer. We apologize if we were not able to find a package that fits into your vacation lifestyle. We would love the chance to host you again soon.

We have been here several times. Every stay that we have had has been amazing. The kids love the pools and the amenities. The kids club that they have is wonderful too. This year my boys played soccer, kickball, had faces painted, and had a party by the pool. The rooms are very spacious and clean. This has become our home away from home for vacations. The previous year we had bought the lattitudes program which meant we would have to go on a tour. We went on our tour but had no intention of buying. Yes we love it but don't want to get involved in a time share. Our tour agent told us that if we do not buy this time it is our last chance. She then stated that we would be flagged from staying at the resort anymore. I said to her " because we didn't buy we can't stay here anymore" She said yes. If you don't buy after three times of staying here you can't stay at our resort. I am offended. We had been going for years and have always enjoyed it. I have recommended it to friends. What kind of service is this. I thought this was owned by Holiday Inn. Why can't I stay here.

Hello and thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us. We’re so happy to hear that you and your family had a great time and enjoyed all of the amenities that the resort had to offer. Nothing makes us happier than hearing from our guests about how they were able to enjoy their vacation. We would like to address your comments regarding your Latitudes package. Our Latitudes program allows potential Holiday Inn Club Members to experience a stay with us, attend a property tour, take advantage of special vacation ownership pricing and enjoy your vacation all at a discounted price. Our guests are able to take advantage of the latitudes program three times, due to the deeply discounted prices. However, any guest is welcome to stay at the resort through our rental program at any time, regardless of previous stays. In an attempt to find out more about your experience, we have attempted to contact you through private message. We hope that this clears up any confusion, and we hope to see you again soon.

We stayed here for the week before christmas in one of the 6-8 p villas reserved through RCI.
I am not a big fan of timesharing stays but this hotel really surprised me. It was not the small crowded stuffy room... the place was really nice and well designed, with light and fresh air coming from the terrace. Being on the 5th floor, view was great. On the villages there are 2 bedrooms, one King and one with 2 doubles, also a sofa-bed on the living room. 2 bathrooms and one fully aquipped kitchen. We were by the main gate so going in - out was quick. The hotel is HUGE, you need to drive to go to the lobby although they have shuttle service with frecuent runs. There is a wallgreens across the street and I think that is the only place you can go walking, everytwhere else requires a car. All disney parks are very close, Animal Kingdom being the closest about 5 - 10 min drive. Lots of restaurants on the zone. Premium Outlets 15 min drive. We went to an Orlando Magic NBA game and was almost an hour drive due to the heavy traffic going downtown Oralndo but totally worth it. I only knew the villages so I would recommend it for large parties with small children going to the parks. I must say I was not a Disney person but after this trip I think Disney's got a new fan.

Hi there, it’s so wonderful to hear from you about your stay with us last month. We love being able to surprise and delight our guests during their stay with us. We love being able to offer more room, more fun and more amenities to our guests. You give a great account of a vacation stay around the resort. It’s nice that you were able to get outside of the main tourist areas and experience the local Orlando flavor. Next time, make sure to utilize the toll roads when heading outside of the attractions area. They can get you where you need to go much faster than the main highways which can become clogged. We’re happy to hear that your thoughts about local attractions were changed. We hope to see you again soon in the future!

Everyone smiles and wishes you a great day. However, immediately upon registering, you're shepherded to a sales counter where they try to sell you packages. The rooms aren't cleaned, and you have to beg to get clean towels. So the staff is friendly, but not particularly helpful. I left some clothes in our room and called before anyone else had checked in to have them retrieved. Three weeks later, the clothes have still not been "found". I presume they have been "adopted". The rooms are spacious and have comfortable beds, but our room didn't have a window to the outside. We called it our cave, which our 4 year old grandson found delightful. We did not. Lovely grounds, nice pool and hot tub. Lots to do, but you have to pay for most of it.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a window to the outside - not into the atrium.

We look forward to welcoming all of our guests and striving to give them the best vacation experience possible. We booked this as a package through Southwest Airlines, we wanted a place central to visit family which in that aspect it met. We are a couple in our 60's and have traveled extensively.

The problem though began during check-in. They said they were giving us a $20 gift and handed me off to another person, right away I realized they were trying to get us to attend a timeshare presentation. I told them I wasn't interested and thought that would be the end of it. No, the next morning somehow no sooner did I turn on the light and TV the phone rings and it's another sales pitch. Amazing timing?

The first night my wife started to turn on the lights and a roach popped out of the light switch and a couple of days later I saw a couple crawling on the refrigerator.

The room was an odd layout. The bedroom was the first room you entered so you could hear any and all noise in the hallway and it was like having a 60 watt light on all night from the light coming in around and under the door. The AC blower unit was in the wall next to the bed and it had one speed LOUD.

The final kicker was we didn't get any maid service. I asked at the front desk the morning of the third day and was told that to get maid service it cost extra, $31.47 per day! If we wanted clean towels that we would have to wash them using the free washer and dryer down the hall. This isn't what I would expect anywhere I've been.

Room Tip: Go to another hotel chain.

Hello and thank you for taking the time to let us know about your recent stay. We appreciate hearing from all of our guests about how their time spent with us went. We are disappointed to hear that your stay did not live up to your vacation expectations. Our tours are a great way to find out about what vacation ownership can do for you as well as all of the great amenities available around the resort. However, these tours are always optional. Also, all of our guests can feel free to request that no calls be placed to your unit. We take pest issues very seriously. Our staff thoroughly inspects and treats any issues immediately. We always encourage our guests to let us know right away of any issues or needs that they encounter during their stay, as we constantly strive to make sure that you have the best stay possible. We would love the opportunity to host you again in the future to show you how much fun vacationing with us can be.
