We stayed here for 3 days and the hotel was CLEAN, the location is great and staff were always friendly. Front desk Service were AWESOME!! thanks for your help accomodating us with our Westie dog. I was concerned after reading some bad reviews, but the truth is Champions Wolrd Resort was a good experience. The Nature Park is beautiful, I walked with my dog every day there. The Hotel has 3 pools, the indoor pool was having work done to it so we were not able to enjoy it, but it was not an inconvinience. Room was clean, we had a microwave and fridge. Bathroom was clean (very important).
The hotel is great for the Price.

We stayed here for 10 nights from the 26th of Dec 2012 to the 6th of January 2013, as our base for Disney, a good hotel is judged when it sorts a problem out, when we arrived the door lock wasn't working, but they moved us to another room straight away, the handyman was a real laugh, and he was a good guy doing a good job, we moved to another room and had a comfortable 10 days, the sheets and bedding were changed everyday, the room tidied, and the maids were always cheery, and always said "good morning"

The breakfasts were good, and Miriam in the restaurant was always helpful and chatty, if you want omelettes or fried eggs just ask for them, the staff are happy to serve you, Miriam if you read this, thank you for good service every morning

Chris behind the bar was a nice person, and took time out to chat to you about your day, and New Years Eve in the hotel was eventful, the buffet and Karaoke was great fun, took a while to get going, but it did go on until the small hours, and there was some fireworks in the car pack around 12 to celebrate the new year, our son who is 9 was chatting to the maids and they always made a big fuss of him, (which we appreciated)

I think you have to understand that you pay for what you get, its not 5 star but it is good, and to be honest, I thought we got a lot for our money, and we would come back here, the guy in the shop was a very friendly man, and he took time out to talk to us, reception were good, and informative, we have stayed in hotels charging a lot more, and had worse service, the shuttle bus to Disney was reliable, and a couple of dollars tip to the driver was reasonable, the bus picking up on night got a little crowded, but at least it got you back, make sure the driver tells you what bus stop number to be back at to get the last bus and make sure you ask the driver if he is going to Champions World as sometimes two busses arrive at once going to different hotels.

We would recommend the Chinese "all you can eat" buffet across the main road, opposite the hotel entrance we think its the i193 please be careful crossing this road as the lights are quick, and its a fast and busy road there is a 7/11 and a McDonalds, if you turn right and follow the road the 7/11 sells pretty much everything you would want

WELL DONE CHAMPIONS WORLD! HAD A GOOD 10 DAYS WITH YOU

I arrived at this hotel on the 7th with my boyfriend for a two week stay. Long story short we checked out 3 days later. We would've checked out straight away had we not been waiting for a refund from our travel agents so we could book another hotel. I had rang the 'hotel' (it's more like a seedy motel) two days prior to arriving and asked them about the negative reviews they had on here. They basically said it was all fabricated lies and that the hotel was fine and said they'd even upgrade us to a bigger room with a pool view as it was my 21st birthday holiday. When we arrived our hearts sank. The exterior was tired and dropping to pieces. We tried to stay positive about it as we hasn't seen our room yet. As we walked to our room (which we couldn't find for 20 minutes as the receptionist gave us rubbish directions ten left us to it) we quickly saw that our room was passed the pool and looking out onto a scruffy pool house. Just that. As we walked in it became apparent that the reviews were true. There was holes in the wall and door, hair still in the bath, some sort of bug in the bath, black marks on the sheets, dirt all over the floor (we couldn't walk around in bare feet it was so dirty), damp above the door, the plug sockets were separating from the wall. The next day we got up early to go and complain and to ring our travel agents. There was a different receptionist on to the night before who was nice about it and have us a free breakfast (don't have the breakfast if it isn't free, it's disgusting). We also discovered that the indoor pool was having work done to it so there was dust flying all over and a big canopy over the pool held down by breeze blocks. The balcony frames were dropping to pieces and crumbling, light fittings were held together by blue duct tape, paint work was peeling off the walls and floor. It looked nothing like the website at all. That would've been bearable. It's a good job Florida had sun to make this place look a bit cheerier. I wish I could've rated it a zero for everything but there wasnt that option. The only reason it gets a two for service was because of that one receptionist. The others were very short and sharp. So we checked out of the hotel and are now staying at the holiday inn 5 minutes walk away from downtown Disney, and we can now relax and enjoy our holiday and forget about that god awful place. Read the reviews before booking it. I regret not doing that.

Rooms have paper thin walls and the price means you get some lively neighbours. We heard every noise and word that was spoken in the next door room. We even smelt the aromatic second hand tobbacco coming under the locked adjoining door during the wee small hours. Wifi only works in the reception if you can find a seat. Luckily we only stayed one night (although it seemed a long one with the lack of sleep due to the noise). In summary - whole place is tired and not particularly clean - if you dont have much money and sleep with ear plugs and need to be in the area then give it a whirl if not avoid. I wouldnt want to take kids here.
