I have recently returned from a 2 week holiday in Orlando, Florida, staying at this Hotel.

The hotel is over an hour away from Orlando International Airport, about 30 minutes away from the Disney parks and about 45 minutes away from Universal/SeaWorld. However, the hotel provides free scheduled shuttles to all of the parks. The Disney shuttle only goes to the Magic Kingdom Ticket/Transportation Center, which you can get to all of the parks from. The Universal/SeaWorld shuttle goes direct to the parks. The shuttles are free and they only go once a day, stopping at a few other hotels along the way which can be tiring.

The hotel room was very clean and were cleaned every day unless specified with a "Do Not Disturb" sign.
There are 3 pools at the hotel. The main covered pool was being refurbished during our stay, which we knew about before our trip. The other 2 pools are average, however they are clean and well maintained.

There is a 7/11 and McDonalds within 5/10 minutes walking distance down the street, and a Dominos and Subway across the street, however there is no path/sidewalk, so you have to be cautious. There is also a bus stop right outside the hotel, which you can ride on all day for only $4.50. Along the route includes a Nike Outlet, Walmart & Gift/Sport shops, aswel as lots & lots of restaurants.

The wifi in the room didnt work particularly well, but in the lobby, restaurant or bar it worked at full strength. The A/C in the room worked & was easy to operate.
Most of the staff on reception were friendly and helpful.

We only had one meal at the hotel, due to eating out at the many parks and getting back to the hotel late at night. We had one Steak meal and a Cheeseburger meal, which were very very tasty, fresh & fulfilling.

I would like to give a special mention to Chris, the barman. He was very very friendly, helpful and is very knowledgeable about all of the parks & the local area. He was easy to approach and talk to. I personally didn't use the Bar unless Chris was on duty, as I didn't find any of the other bar Men/Women as inviting or helpful.

The only disadvantage about the hotel is the distance it is from the parks and the times of the shuttles. We wished that we had rented a car so that we could do the parks on our times and stay later in the parks, however by using the shuttles, bus and the occasional taxi, we made the best of our holiday and had an amazing time.

We stayed here for two weeks in May and found it clean, friendly and relaxing. It's a few miles from Disney and Universal, we used the free shuttle to Disney and also took the car. The local bus also stops right outside and is very cheap campared to UK prices and is ideal to go to old town. A car isn't essential but I don't think we would have enjoyed our stay as much without one. The three swimming pools are all clean and the one with the hot tub was our favourite. There are lots of restaurants nearby and there are discount vouchers for most of them in the hotel lobby. My wife used the laundry late at night while had a drink beside the covered pool saving on bringing two weeks washing home, that seemed to make her happy. So all in all this was a good hotel that we used more as a base. Forgot to mention they now have a nature reserve that wasn't open when we were their but they let us wander around it and it should be good when its open.

Stayed at this hotel which was disserted and was miles from anywhere.
Its a good job we had a car or else things would have been alot worse.

The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, tidy and basic. There was nothing really wrong it just fely as though we were in the middle of nowhere.

The wifi never worked very well.

We stayed for 2 weeks at Champions, yes it needs updating but my room was cleaned every day and could not fault the cleaners. The reception staff where always pleasant with me and my daughter. The wifi never hardly worked. There was a pool closed because of a broken pump, but there didnt seem to be any sign of it getting fixed. It was miles out of the way, you need a car to get around. The bar closed too early when Mark was on, he would close the bar at 8.40 on a monday because he worked a long day and was tired, even when customers are in the bar hed just say hes closing. his attitude is a disgrace and how hes got a job there i will never know. Also watch your tab when hes on because i think he overcharges you and he never gives you a receipt. The best thing about the staff in Champions has to be Ray (the Chef) and Chris (the Barman) they would go out their way for you and nothing was a problem to them. (unlike Mark)

I was at this hotel this August for 2 weeks... And it was the worst hotel I've ever been too... Room wasn't clean, bed sheet wasn't changed, floor was full of dust, tv didn't work properly, the pool was close due to some water problem, Internet wasn't working for the all 2weeks and 2 days we didnt have hot water!!!! The service was very poor, staff wasn't friendly and there was one girl which was very rude and with no manner, and the manager same as her.
I was very disappointed as this hotel was booked by the agency telling me it was near everywhere and I didn't had time to check, but this hotel is the last hotel of the road, far from everywhere and there is nothing around it except a dominos sabuways, pizza hut, a Lil old gift shop,.... You can't even walk around there as there isn't any sidewalk.
To stay at this hotel you need a car, don't relay on the shuttle as they where never on tiime and the time they had was not convenient and it takes long to go to the Disney park because, they pick up more people from different hotels and same on the way back as this hotel is far, you get drop off last.
I just want to say to everyone, please don't stay in this hotel, you will be very disappointed, there are more hotel close to Disney with the same price like Ramada Hotel and the service is much better.
