I didn't know so much about turtles and all the problems they can encounter in their life. The staff explained so well about all kind of turtles and how the hospital works. From the word of the staff you can perceive the enthusiasm and the joy to work with turtles.
We visited the pools where turtles are, you don't feel they are in captivity.

Suggestion: improve the gadgets to buy... You should increase your sells.

Please please visit the hospital and support their work!
The tour is very interesting! Although turtles aren't the most adorable animals, somehow the tour makes me attached to the turtles and want to help them out.

This tour was soo much better than visiting the dolhpin rescue center for example.

I would definitely return.

We were recommended this by a couple of local Marathon residents as something a little different from the usual tourist attractions on the Keys, and we're so glad we took their advice.

The first 30 mins is a presentation on the hospital, the turtles they rescue, causes, habitat etc. Very interesting background for the next part, a tour of the hospital facilities and update on the most recent/extreme cases, then it's outside to the pools and seeing their vets in action and meeting the residents!

Well worth a visit and interesting for adults and kids alike.

The tour was very boring because I had a hard time understanding the person that gave the tour and I also felt like it was too much like a classroom. It would have been better to move more quickly over things and let people ask questions after. It was fun feeding the sea turtles.

Turtle Hospital is a great place to visit and is very well laid out with good information displays about all the local species of Turtle. The guided tour was very entertaining and we got the chance to ask lots of questions, all of which were answered with expertly and with confidence. We never normally buy gift shop gifts but the trinkets were so well priced and knowing that the profits get put back into helping the turtles we ended up buying several presents for Christmas. Keep up the good work!!!
