The ride to the Keys is mainly over a big faceless, boring Highway on which you don`t even realise that you are driving on Islands, because it runs through industrial arias with no sight of the water… BUT here on the Seven Miles Bridge your Adventure Begins and you start to realise that you enter a very Special legendary part of the United States!

Indeed this is a 7 mile bridge, the views of the water are beautiful. You will notice the still (mostly) standing old original bridge also. Ends of it used for recreation, fishing, walking and biking.

On your way to Key West you’ll get to drive the 7 mile bridge which surprisingly is about 7 miles long!! What a view, but that can be said of most of the bridges along the keys. Definitely do it once or more in your life time to see that emerald blue water. What a beautiful part of the world! Go see it! Weather ain’t bad either!

I have always wanted to drive this road and across the 7 mile bridge. The sites were beautiful and the ocean water was so clear and memorizing. I would recommend this drive, both as a driver and passenger. Check off of my bucket list.

Either way you go this bridge takes you to paradise. The view is amazing! Only way to get to lower keyes other than a boat! Runs alongside Flaglers railroad for a bit. Takes you back in time! Pay attention and do not pass. Beware of arcehole drivers! Enjoy !

This is not so much a highlite. There are no signs at or near the bridge. You may have passed it before you know it, but making a trip down to Key West is certainly a nice trip!

Title says everything that needs to be said - what else could I add or interject better than the old cliche "Iconic"

Well worth the trip- lots of excellent stops on the way including Key Lime Pie at the Blond Giraffe, shopping and a massive lobster at the Rain Barrel, feeding the tarpon at Robbie's and dinner at the Islamorada Fish Company. Bahia Honda and Sombrero Beaches both excellent stops for a swim.

Nice drive down south. No issues even with lots of traffic. Saw lots of boats out and several people fishing off the piers.
