We each enjoyed a cup of conch chowder and a grilled ahi tuna sandwich with sides of cole slaw and black beans/rice. Tuna was very tasty and everyone left full. One of the best ahi sandwiches I have ever had. We will be back again before we head home. Service was friendly and prompt (unusual for the Keys).

We went here because of the good reviews this place had, to us it was nothing special, everything on the menu is fried platters! Except for the stone crab claws which we got and they were delicious! Service
Was great as well. Prob wouldn't go back

We are visiting Marathon for a few weeks and Fish Tales had been recommended but from the road, we thought it might have been another of those places that had been good during yesteryear but had not been quite able to hold it together during the rougher years. There were 4 of and I think we were just tired of riding and discussing optional places to eat so we just pulled in and decided to give this place a shot. One of the best moves we ever made. Really fresh seafood with Italian accents. The servings were very generous and the food was delicious. i definitely plan to go back there soon.

My wife and I had two eat in meals here and two to go meals each one was very good As a bonus we also had two wrapped to bring on the plane home, anything but airline food. Worth a stop not super large portions but enough and very reasonable. Staff is also very nice.

After visiting the dolphin research center we were looking for a place to eat before heading back to key west. we asked a local about a good place in marathon and fish tales was recommended. the menu had tons of daily specials which all sounded so good. They had a good selection including non seafood item too. my aunt who is picky and doesn't like seafood got a steak. It was a prime cut and very reasonable priced and she loved it. we tried the conch chowder and lobster bisque both so amazing. the comfy fritters were also very good a lot of conch and not all breading. my mom who likes to get her money's worth at restaurants was very pleased with everything. she got he catch of the day mahi mahi grilled and loved. we shared all the food and it was so good. The staff was also so nice. the food was so much cheaper then key west prices. The food came fast, so hot and plenty of it we had to take some home with us. The next day myself, fiance and another aunt who didn't eat there the day before were on out way back through the keys driving back to Ohio we stopped so she could try it. she loved it also. she loves good seafood and was also impressed. we got the special fish fry of grouper amazing. she got the German fish sandwich and loved it. oh and thst have the best coeslaw. we can't say enough good things about this place. It was a seafood market too so you know the fish is so fresh. it was two great meals to end the trip to the keys with.
