“Must-visit place in Marathon!”
Reviewed November 8, 2012

Wow! Went here on a reccomendation from the owner of the home we rented in Marathon and could not have been happier. The staff was super friendly - let my boys (ages 10 and 7) feed the Tarpon off the dock which was a huge thrill. Then dinner was ready! Conch fritters to start, each boy had a crab cake sandwich, and I had their famous lobster reuben. My mouth is watering while typing this! Finished the meal by sharing a slice of Key Lime Pie. Wonderful! Check it out.

“Nice view, decent food, service mediocre.”
Reviewed November 8, 2012

Pretty good fish sandwiches at a decent price, you can see most of a nice sunset from the outdoor tables. Probably a better view from the upstairs seating, don't know, as families with children we were forbidden. Possibly service there as well, again, don't know as persona non grata there due to kids.
Zero service at the picnic tables downstairs left a sour taste to me as they present you with a charge slip with a tip line, it's only after adding a full tip that you discover that there is no service, you find your seats, try to find silverware, get your drinks, bus your tables yourself.
OK if you know but a big tip? Come on!
We enjoyed the Fish Tales market instead quite a bit more.

“By far our tastiest meal that gave us food poisoning”
Reviewed October 25, 2012

Unassuming market/outdoor restaurant on the water. Reviews prior to going sounded good. Order at the window and pick up when ready. Outdoor tables with views of the water.
We ordered grilled fish sandwiches which were very tasty. We also had the stone crab chowder which was tasty. The sandwiches came with fries and coleslaw. After enjoying our meal we left and within a few hours all members of our party were sick with food poisoning. I can not recommend any place that gave its diners food poisoning. So if you eat here; go at your own risk .

“Too busy for their own good”
Reviewed October 22, 2012

This place used to be good. In the past couple of years it became "popular." They haven't been able to keep up with the number of customers that stand in line for their now mediocre food.
