summer menu was great, a small selection but good ones, everything was
fresh and plenty of food on the plate, service was alittle slow but because of
live entertainment wait was worth it.

Place looked fun, so we stopped for dinner around 5 p.m. Waiter never told us about happy hour specials...the people next to us first stopped at the bar and asked and got a Happy Hour list. Waiter didn't seem able to handle the tables he had...we counted 3 besides ours. Menu is VERY limited...husband got a Cuban panini & I got "herb crusted" mahi...was just OK for both. Fries were frozen & over fried. Won't be back...too many other much better places to eat (go to Sunset Grill, Keys Fishery, Porky's, Stuffed Pig, etc)

(I saw on a previous review on TripAdvisor, the owner of Salty's replied to a negative review by stating that anyone can say anything using the Internet....well, that's a customer's way of helping others from wasting their money! And by being the owner of a place like Salty's, of course you would dislike apps like Trip Advisor for that reason!)

I stopped in after the 7 mile bridge. I asked for a "Keys-esque" type drink, only to be told they had nothing like that and to get what I usually get... so I got a beer. It was a great price during happy hour. Service was sort of lacking initially... it said to wait to be seated and after waiting awhile I went to the bar but couldn't get anyone's attention and was about to give up when someone finally said to sit anywhere. Nice beach feel, live music was a plus. Service once sat was OK. Value was lacking... 6" in diameter and 2" high pile of nacho chips, cheese, onions, tomatoes (no meat although there was to be a choice of chicken or shrimp) with salsa and sour cream was like $9 or $10 and kind of a rip off. Much less busy than the Sunset Grill across the street though, so there was that.
